TPIR: Danger Price [Final Playing of the First Set]
Soul Train is the best music show ever made.
Have this on tape when it first aired in 88! Best addition of any group was to add Johnny Gill! And the mic save by Ralph Tresvant was perfect! What a great legendary group!
Congratulations Andre you deserve it
Too bad, if it had gone to 21-21, was this not the era where the person who broke the tie won a car?
Yes!
Originally aired on CBS: 1/7/1986; repeated airing on #TPIRBarker (A Hole-in-one perfection for Michael) Announcer: Rich Jefferies (+)
Happy birthday Plinko!
Good stuff 💯🕺🏻🔥
After a contestant got each/every one wrong in "Switcheroo," Roger Dobkowitz makes a guest appearance @ 25:45, in answering to Bob Barker's question as to how many times, has it ever happened before! You don't hear him in conversations like these, but, you may tell what he (Dobkowitz) said, before the commercials roll.
She said it! Granted it's 41 years later and all, but I definitely heard her say "fairytales". They probably didn't catch it, though, because she kind of mumbles it at exactly the same time Richard Klein says "Jack and the beanstalk." Still, I feel she got screwed. Listen very, very closely at 2:36.
I love Vicki....(how many know the name of the mega hit song she did?). Also....just how many times was she on the show??? It seems like a whole lot.
That's the night that the lights wennnnnttttt outttttt in Geeeooorgia!
Hi , That contestant is me, Adrienne Deas. I've been looking for this for years. Thank you for recording this. I am still looking for the full video. Thank you so much!!
1:54
Congrats! By the way, Star Wars is from 20th Century-Fox and Lucasfilm Ltd.
Actually, 2 people won the million on A DSW! The third person won it in a pricing game.
First double showcase winner in primetime in 16 years.
The green and gold Card Game table is the one I grew up with
A rare primetime DSW winner
I congratulate Christopher for winning a Double Showcase in the Primetime.
I miss the old Carnival music which they use to play in Pick A Pair way back when I was a little girl watching this show.
Double showcase win in which includes the opponent's $5,000 in cash
Christopher wins "DOUBLE SHOWCASE" grand total of $120,358 bucks!!
Christopher is the first contestant to win a Double Showcase in Primetime since Michael Haines in March 2008
I recorded this, but fell asleep at the showcase round. That Beemer is ultra hot! Thanks for uploading this, Andre!
You’re welcome
I don't know if this is the 1st time, in order for a contestant, to have a fear of "going over," Emma has changed bids in the showcase and you can hear her reaction @ 36:36. Later, after the commercial, Emma didn't really know the actual retail price of her own showcase, meaning she had been saved, all this time, esp. when she was afraid she might have "gone over" @ 38:24. Listen to Bob Barker's reaction as to why Emma did that! All she had to do was to just say her original bid, but either/or Gayle would've "Went Over," anyways, esp. if she had to come closer to Emma's small showcase difference, only, when she had to come closer to Emma's $11,000+. What did Emma care? This was a "Big Win" in this episode, anyways, she won $44,871.
Holy cow!! That IS a first time DSW in a LONG time!! #congrats 🎉🎉
5:39 Jeffrey, that was my reaction when things didn’t go your way in “Plinko”. I’m sure you wanted to take all of those chips, and, 1 by 1, throw them at all the prizes that caused problems for you.
POV: Friday is here
she didn't miss out on much, the Fiero was one of the worst cars ever made, they caught on fire at a shockingly high rate and ran like crap for what was supposed to be a "sports car" and the control rods would randomly fail which if it happened on the highway, you could spin out of control at over 55mph. If I had won that car, I'd take even a fraction in cash value or sell it the same day and run for the hills as far away from that Fiero was possible
This would have been edited out today and it would never had aired
leavanny
Hate to come in with the perfect clue, but J. Fox
That was a heartbreaking loss.
10:21 Since 7 was required to win, if they pass on one along the way & there’s time left, the receiver can go back to guess the passed clue but the giver may not help out any further.
I love this game show classic from 1983 an oldie but goodie
Thanks for uploading this
Bob Barker was Getting That Arsenio Hall Love ...... #Legend
Love to have that Sampo TV set in the Showcase Of The Future . Every time when Bob shoots off the Hurdles gun .He always gets an Oooh out of the audience ..LOL. It must be loud in the studio.
🤔 @ 2:36 when the time clock is at 55 seconds, it DOES sound as though she gently mumbles 'fairy tales' under her breath, yet when listening with the volume turned up and eyes closed, it's clear she says 'nursery rhyme characters.' Bummer. 😞
I knew she said it under her breath but didn’t say it out loud .
I don't need to close my eyes; I already can't see… I definitely heard her say "fairytales". She kind of mumbles it at exactly the same time Richard Klein says "Jack and the beanstalk," though, then says "fable characters" about a second later. They probably didn't hear her say "fairytales" because, like I said, she said it at exactly the same time Richard Klein gave that clue.
Clock game is my fave,
Cocaine a helluva drug...
You've got to be kidding me! Already into the 2nd week of the new season and yet, we have a $1 Million Dollar loss!
These games are so fixed...
This was a painful GAME. No one ever won it, and it was mercifully retired after only 5 appearances.
Yikes! That was painful. For the record, I think Ryan is doing an amazing job!
He did one mistake in which the viewers were outraged, last week a contestant had a million dollar wedge and Ryan didn’t Warn her that in the mystery round that if she was to go for it she would lose that chance at a million dollars in the bonus round and the result she lost it.
@@StLawrencePlace Fair, but overall I think he's been a very good replacement for Pat. The flow with him feels very natural.
Ryan Seacrest's first of many Million Dollar Loses
