No Ceilings Was Full Of Remixed Songs. And Everybody Loved It. He Has A Valid Point. I Think ( My Personal Opinion ) It Was The Fact That It Was A Lot Of People (Look In The RUclips Comment Section ) Saying It Was Better Than The Original.
The problem is Jacquees shouldn't of remixed that song at that time, bad timing... he's bigger than her so she didn't get enough shine from her own song. Her name wasn't big enough for him to do that to her at the time so ppl thought it was his song. She's to new of a artist for him to do that to her.
Have to disagree everyone knew it was her song it was constantly on radio and there was a video did had a bunch of views like dude said most people in the comments thought his sound better

But Wayne released no ceilings as a mixtape. Which was free to download. He wasn’t profiting off those songs like Jacquees singing them at live shows
She was mad because when she dropped it it did cool but when jacques did the remix it was doing better numbers she felt a way as one should but she should’ve capitalized like she said and did the real temix

An artist can only monetize on a track only on certain platforms (Spotify, Apple Music, etc). The trip remix was on RUclips and SoundCloud, where you CANT monetize on a song (or at least not fully). Someone had to make it clear because not all of us are artists who know the game
it technically IS a form of monetization from simple "views"

It’s not the original version no matter how u look at it and you can’t change the fact the it’s HER SONG period and it doesn’t matter if the remix is “better” than the original version, at the end of the day he stole the song and tried to monetize it. He simply stole something that didn’t belong to him and it was very childish of how he handled the whole situation, but y’all wanna get mad at her just because y’all feel like his remix was “better” and the fact that the song got removed as if she was responsible for taking it down. Jacques was wrong...she had JUST put the song out. And like he said he jacked her song. That wasn't right. And the gentleman thing to do was to apologize not make excuses that don't apply to the situation

Ella Mai never hated Jacquees. It was just disrespectful for him to cover her song which she didn't fully release. Which forced her and her team to release the song quicker. So she can monetize it. Jacquees just needs to concentrate on making his own songs.

Ella Mai didn't own the music. She didn't produce the beat, therefore the cease and desist were at the discretion of the producer and label. Plus who cares for real? That was what, 4-5 years ago? It was before the pandemic for sure.

Okay Queese... but the right way to do it is hop in the studio with her or get on the remix the right way... not under the table. especially since you already had a rapport. artists do this all the time, network & collab. not taking the beat, recording your own version and dropping a 🎉surprise🎉 remix

Facts I pretty sure she heard it loved it and had no problem with it until her label said something about the success of his remix and if Jacquees truly wanted to he could’ve kept it up without any legal trouble but he pulled off of platforms out of respect
