Thank you for offering these exercises. Before I was diagnosed, I didn’t even know what facets were! It can be crazy painful when I move my head in certain ways,, so I am hoping the exercises will help. (Plus being more aware of head movement!)
Thank you so much for this. I was recently diagnosed with cervical facet joint arthrosis - on Meloxicam for pain management, and have a care plan in place but it is a bit of a wait until it starts. I tried your exercises with extra care and they feel good 😊
I am 15 and also have cervical facet join problems it irritates me so much at school when I look down and write , will this stay forever? I’ve heared it’s irreversible and you live with it forever please reply , thanks❤

Hello Dr Mel, just discovered your website ! Thank you for these excercices. I realised that I wasn't doing them correctly. making sure I was in the right posture before doing the rotation. After months of pain, I have just been diagnosed with Cervical Facet Joint Syndrome. In a couple of weeks, I will be getting CT Bilateral Cervical facet joint steroid injection. Do know if these injections help?
Good evening Dr. Mel, thanks for the you provide through this channel. I’ve been suffering with very stiff neck in addition to cervical and thoracic stenosis, I’ve been recommended surgery to clear the canal but the Drs think I’ll be able even more stiff in my neck after surgery. I am very leery because my ROM is extremely limited.
So happy you found my exercises, this will only help prepare you for surgery if you choose to go through with it. Stretching the muscles and improving your ROM now will help greatly with your recovery post op, wish you well!! 🤍🙏
If we have cervical facet syndrome do we also have swelling in the head? I've been diagnosed with this and I have swelling too in my head please tell me what should I do for swelling in my head I'm really worried about this. Sorry my English is not good. But please reply.
Hey thank you so much for this , I currently have this , had it for 3 years now , it’s so painful , the pain hurts my chest as well , worse on my left side and when I lift my head up it’s so bad , I’ve been turning my neck a lot to see if that will help as a form of neck rotation , my neck also cracks easily which I don’t think is good. Physio is so expensive ans I’ve just been managing the pain but is worse on days when I’m stressed
@@imeh-mfonikon2210 Your very welcome. On stressful days use these exercises as a tool to step away and care for yourself. Your muscles will become even more tense when you are stressed, this is a good way to break up the tension and prevent the pain from getting worse. Also deep diaphragmatic breathing when you are stressed. Wishing you well 🤍🙏🌿!
You can not confirm this for sure without imaging and testing. However if there was no trauma to the neck and this stiffness and numbness is something that happened over time, these exercises will only help not hurt you. Correcting your posture is the most important thing for most neck conditions. Consistently work on these exercises throughout the day and see if this helps resolve the symptoms over the next month or two.
Why do people in America insist on having annoying loud background music? In this case, it is more noise than anything pleasant. Imagine having hearing loss or any other challenges to deal with on top of all this distraction. Please change the way you present.
Thank you dear doctor these are wonderful simple and profound!! And I agree the music was very distracting I'd rather hear you better.. Or even if you turned it way down in background..😅
