  • It took me a lot of trial and error...and money to figure out exactly what I needed to start doing these kinds of videos for youtube. Hopefully this video will save your time and wallet so you don't make the same mistakes I made starting out.

    ….and just like that a tiktok star is born!!… j/k informative video! I didn’t realize how much of a big difference audio makes, i guess it’s just one of those things you just don’t notice.

      Haha thanks Hiro! I'll never make it as a tiktoker haha, too old for that now. Yes audio is just something we take for granted these days, but behind the scenes it's probably the hardest aspect of video creation... For me at least 🤣

    Very informative! I agree, it is better. Sounding really good. Thanks Jay! I am amazed too! BTW: That black and white bird that landed on the fence at the end of your video.....what kind of bird was it?

    • @JayRegular
      @JayRegular  2 года назад +2

      That's a magpie, a really annoying bird here

    I clicked on this video for the tips on setting up a POV photography kit, but I have to ask, where'd you get that black coat? It looks slick 👌

      I got it from Uniqlo a few years back, it's block tech coat from the women's section 👍

    Audio is better with the 150 to me, especially because the in-camera audio balance was off and was louder in the right channel.

    • @JayRegular

      Yes definitely, wireless mics are just nice and convenient

    Nice summary for people who want to start with POV SP. 💪 I must say your DJI wand is really big. lol I would only have one addition. you are super fit and look even with the go pro bra still presentable. If I want to wear something like that it would look like a kinky sm men bra. Everyone would immediately call the police. lol Therefore, I prefer to use a clamp and the middle bar of my backpack. that is also at the right height. 👌

    • @JayRegular
      @JayRegular  2 года назад +1

      Haha the DJI with the extension handle does make it look much bigger, but if not going for wireless mic option you can reduce the size significantly by taking that handle off. Haha which is why most of the time I opt to wear a light jacket to cover up most of the harness... Very hard to do in summer though 🤣

    Im having success with the backpack clip for GoPro. Pretty discreet. Want the neck strap. The chest harness is a bit conspicuous for me, especially being a woman

    • @JayRegular
      @JayRegular  2 года назад

      Yes, with the latest gopros with the horizon leveling feature the backpack clip works super well!
