I genuinely feel for you brother!
I went through same emotions after NEET-PG 2022. I am a 2021 batch MBBS passout. With internship, I got a rank of 32k in 2021. After a full fledged preparation for 2022, I couldn't perform well in NEET-PG 2022, as I got stuck in postponement saga that took place before 2022 exam, and I simply gave up 1 month before the 2022 exam.
When the 2022 results were announced, I couldn't even face my parents as I was feeling it is end of the world.
After some days of result, I introspected and looked out for my mistakes, and came to the conclusion that it was the burden of expectations from me by the society that lead me to giving up the fight before exams and not facing the problems. I stopped talking to everyone around me, and went into complete isolation from the society.
Generally we have no choice after MBBS, other than doing PG, so I somehow gained courage to give the exam again in 2023. Trust me, to go through the whole process again was not easy, as I couldn't easily forget my past. But, somehow I told myself that I do not have any other option apart from giving the exam again.
In November INICET, 2022 I secured a rank of 4.1k, which proved to be game changer for me. I started believing that, yes I can do it and achieve a good result. INICET rank was like a motivation for me for next 3 months before NEET. I said to myself, that I would not fall prey again to the burden of expectations of people from me, let them think and do whatever they want to, just focus on what you can control.
The struggle was real but I had made up my mind to survive and thrive. Finally, I got the result of my struggles and sacrifices, I secured a rank of AIR-2270 in NEET-PG 2023.
This whole journey changed my perspective of life. I came to the conclusion that, control the controllables, survive and thrive through struggles, it would surely make a better you!!

Anyone who has been through this mentally pressurising time will understand and relate. Life doesn’t stop with one exam but the mental stress surely gonna take away a few years from you. So,take your time, stay consistent.. Jeet Aaj nahi toh Kal hogi hi.

Well said. I’m a 2020 MBBS pass out, I gave NEET PG in January 2020 without any preparation in my internship as I wanted to have fun in the free time you get as internship in my college was not so strict, I got a rank of 60k, it did not bother me at the time because I had not prepared, I started my preparation in April, gave INICET in November 2020 and got a rank of 2.5k, preparation seemed well on track and then the 2021 exam was postponed. I decided to take a complete break from my preparation as I felt exhausted( not a great decision).
I started my revision in late February and caused myself a lot of stress as it seemed I had forgotten so much in 2.5 months of staying out of touch. Exam got postponed again, I got COVID l, suffered from long COVID, gave the June INICET and got a rank of 13k as did not study, my mental health took a hit and I couldn’t bring myself to give NEET PG in September 2021. At this point my mental and physical health was at an all time low, I began to doubt if I even had it in me to crack the exam. I tried to work on my physical health then, joined the gym, worked on my fitness, worked on my mental health but could not bring myself to restart my prep and did not give NEET PG 2022 as well because I had not prepared and I did not have the guts to face it. Post NEET PG 2022 I somehow began my preparation, started slow but did not stop, GT ranks started bad,but slowly improved, finished half the syllabus and gave INICET November 2022 and got a rank of 2.4k which motivated me, took a long time finishing the remaining syllabus and finished it with 15 Days left for revision, I just kept pushing on thinking that I cannot run away from this my whole life. Gave the exam, went through recalls, they seemed fine snd then the result came I was ranked 5978. It is not an amazing rank and I had made multiple blunders in my exam with the amount of anxiety I felt but I have accepted it and I will not take another attempt. My parents through all this have been very supportive even though they also got frustrated at times, I got frustrated at times, my girlfriend has always been supportive, she got selected in her 1st attempt in 2020 and is finishing her MD this year but all through my struggles she has always motivated me. I will now takr up psychiatry for my MD and will try and make a positive impact on people’s mental health from now on in my life.

This video is far more relieving and motivating than any of the so called life coaches. All that you said is so fucking relatable and so close to the hearts of the medical students. I was going through a bout of anxiety when I saw this video and it gave me immense relief. Huge expectations from oneself and then not being able to achieve them is a huge pain. There many of us out there who are not even clear whether they are for this profession or not, let alone the branch.
2019 batch is in such huge pressure because of the NEET/NEXT dilemma, that we are not able to study anything at all.
Real help is to destress the students and help them cope, not the glorification of toppers.

Exact same thing happened to me...expectations( khudse bhi aur dusron ki bhi) ,anxiety ( jo ki kaafi control karne ki koshish ki lekin nahi hua) ,initial set of questions being tough...jiski wajah se kaafi silly mistakes huyi.
Log hamesha bolte hain ki calm rehne ka toh exam achha hoyega...lekin jo exam ke liye itne dinn se prepare karre hain wo din. Calm rehna difficult hi rehta...and hats off to the people who can do it. But ye cheez matter karti hai...calm rehna is very important...kuch bhi expect mat karo...selection hua toh theek..nahi hua toh theek sach mei. Ghanta farak nahi padta kisiko....aur kuch bhi plans mat banao exam ke baad..ki ye karenge wo karenge usse aur pressure build up hota hai ki nahi hua toh ye bhi nahi kar paayenge...it simply adds up to the anxiety( from my personal experience).
Khaali dimaag se jaane ka khaali dimaag se aane ka...hua toh badhiya nahi hua toh bhi badhiya...kuch nahi badlega. Sab same hi rehta hai...

My boards are going and being an academically bright student I was expecting 95% and as Naineesh bhaiya said my situation was exactlyyyyyy similar I was entering the hall with the burden of expectations and thn just like him I did such silly mistakes due to the pressure. Now I just have 1 more exam left and now I'll go with zero expectation.Thankyou Nainesh bhaiya for this video 🙏❤As he narrating the whole story I was able to relate each n every single thinggg

Omg ,it just feels that you are talking about the same things that are going in my mind.I was a NEET MDS aspirant this year. After giving exam on 1st of March same things happened with me ,even if I would have controlled my anxiety that day😢😢 definitely would have done much better than this ,even I lost my calm seeing the 1st part of the paper which was a little tough which is the medical part for us . Because of all this I lost my control & committed silly mistakes in the dental part too ,secured an AIR of 1846 with a score of 528/960 & missed the mark of getting into a govt seat .Just a day before exam the mock test I gave scored some 761 / 960 & not only this but in the last month before exam I was doing quite well in my mocks but ended into something totally opposite😢😢Even I am not able to prepare for INICET - MDS thinking of the fact that where there were some 300-400 seats (NEET MDS) for general category in government I couldn't do it then how will I be able to do it for INICET where only some 8-10 seats are there😢😢

This is such an important video in today's time! I can totally relate to everything you said as I am in the same boat ! Thank you for making this video so many people like me need it. It is always a motivating experience to watch the topper's videos ,their experiences but what one needs in their preperation is someone who can show them the reality! The importance of accepting that shayad tumhaara nahi bhi ho sakta hain... To make them question themselves as to 'why' they have started this journey everytime they get overburdened with the expectations, and a constant need to prove themselves. going back to the 'why' is important. It keeps us close to reality. Toppers aur achievers ke videos dekh dekh ke man me banayi hue image ke picche bhaagna is tiring! Every person's journey is different...despite of the hard work things can go wrong and if one doesn't have this realisation their mental health suffers a lot like mine did. I don't think there is any mantra to deal with a bad rank. Everyone has their own way but if it is not dealt properly it can cause severe damage ! This is why thanks again naineesh for saying this for being vulnerable in front of so many people.. i just want to tell you that you are doing a great job i am sure its not easy... But still coming forward and saying all of this takes courage, understanding and maturity which has come from your own experience. Keep entertaining educating and motivating us through your videos.

It takes courage to make a video regarding this topic, and it's a very personal topic you don't have to share your rank at all. People should have basic sense to not ask anyone about their ranks, I fail to understand what relief would they get by knowing what rank the other one bagged. All that matters is you gave in your best and tried. Rest life is way too long and way more than these competive exams. To become a good doctor you need a lot more than just degrees from the best institutes. I have seen people from central institutes turning out to be a terrible doctor even after grabbing all the degrees in the world. I have also seen people with just mbbs degree having finer clinical skills and end up becoming the most respected doctor. So you don't have to burden yourself with the ongoing rat race, you have good analytical skills and this will take you ahead in life. All the best for whatever you choose for life!

Only 10k get desired branches . Rest either wd cmpromise wth branch or repeat. But do work in hospital as part time job because u also shud know whch branch is suitable for u. Multiple factors shud be analysed. Many students crack exam very quickly , opt a subject by common narrative and then cant take the pressure and regret all life. So my suggestion is prepare and also work partially. Neet pg is an exam and it is just a rank. Now ur GT marks more than actual mark because of high stress, peer pressure. Revise and revise.

Sir, this side third professional MBBS student from a very reputed medical college of India. In general, I am very junior and hold no power to give an advice, but from my personal experience I want to say some points:
    1. In Bihar, there are many doctors who are practising well with just MBBS degrees or MBBS plus an additional MD degree in non clinical and para clinical subjects.
    2. In my opinion, learning skills and managing common cases which hold maximum patient load ( specifically infectious disease ) is essential for starting good clinical practise.
    3. Its not as such you have to complete pg to become a good doctor. Yes , it increases your value but knowledge is not merely dependent on that degree. Its just like you have to keep practising to learn new things.
    4. I am your new viewer so I dont know your state, but its always good to grab some government or private sector job in hospitals to gain a diverse patient exposure.
Lastly, try to be happy and explore the odds of medical science. Learn new things from patients and regarding pg entrance, try again for next time. Whatever be your rank, check which branch are you getting at this rank.
Sorry, agar maine kucch jyada bol diya ho.❤

I do feel you Doctor bro. You will overcome and you will suceed . Just one lesson I had if it applies to you be with yourself. you need yourself. just take a break, meet you family have some home food and get back with your fresh self and yourself.

I was the chemistry topper of my whole class but in the finals the first question of my set was difficult...it was just using concept but I had never heard of that word but that one question made me stressed and I messed the whole exam...my teacher is expecting 100/99/98...but I may get 89/90/91/92.... and due the expectations I just can't handle the anxiety... I just messed the questions that I was confidential about and now its Killing me from inside on 7 may I have neet UG exam and I can't concentrate just because of that one paper and the students who were securing even 10/20 marks less than me in the school are expecting equal to or greater than mine... I know boards doesn't matters but when you can't excel in your favourite subject on which you had put your 100% it hurts damn bad.... writing the whole thing in your comment section just gave me a little relief but the anxiety I can't handle it out...
