    Are you able to move the clamps further down the rubber hose or are they set in place there at the end of the hose

    Tried to clean the overflow tank on my LBZ. Used simple green, oxiclean, vinegar etc...Nothing would get the stains out. A new tank is 100% the way to go.

      Damn not even simple green! Ya for the $45 bucks and a quick 15/30 min job it’s worth it 🤘

    What kinda coolant you use for ur lb7? I heard dexcool is trash.

      Dexcool is what GM recommends never had any issues with it

    oily coolant tank is indicator you may need to change your head gasket soon.

      It is a sign, but with these trucks more than likely the oil cooler is more common to cause this. I am hoping that either it was head gaskets or the oiler cooler and it was done previously.

      @@DIYDiesel for my LLY it was the headgasket replace the tank prior getting the heads done hoping was not the case , but it was the headgasket. upgraded my oil cooler to the max flow oil cooler from dmax while i replace the headgasket

    Mine looks about the same. Considering replacing it, but was wondering how the dorman tank was compared to the OEM as far as quality goes?

      Seems no different that plastic is the same feel and the hoses connected perfectly 👍🏼
