Mal’s right hand was everything. He was always in the pocket. Every time. I listen to isolated tracks of him and am blown away by just how precisely he is in the pocket. It’s no wonder players mention him. Even the Stones Ronny Wood and Keith loved Mal’s playing.
1979 Me playing air guitar 16 years old to this whole album - 2024 Me playing air guitar 61 years old to this album !!! 1979 Dark basement with black light posters my mom telling me to lower the hellish volume !!! 2024 Dark basement with black light posters my wife of 36 years acts and sounds like my real mom telling me to lower the hellish volume !!🙄🙄😒😒🤫🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣!!!
Dude this album is the soundtrack to my life in the early 80s. IYWB, Powerage, Number of the beast and Krocus headhunter. Lol. Mix in some early ZZ and you got my soundtrack in the early 80s
Nice job.. I've been playing my new beast more as of late ...getting used to the heavier strings and it really projects..amazing.. this song seems easy for Mal but he and Phil ha e to keep that groove for a long time while Angus does his thing. Saw Thunderstruck 2 weeks ago small ventue with balcony.. Kyle (Angus) went into balcony during this one.. and the drummer was gassed after it was over.. Phil was a machine..nice job.. agree..Mal plays it this way it's harder and you have to be tight

Thank you!! There is one for Chase the Ace. It’s just a short but it’s all the parts. Pretty straight forward.

This is awesome MP! First time I've actually seen a LTBR rhythm guitar lesson. You showed/explained it eloquently. Thank you so much. Peace bro ✌

Haha!! Awesome!!! I played many an air guitar on this too. Thought I was Angus. Best live album ever.
All it takes is the cowboy chords the "virtuosos" look down upon..... and some high energy bad ass rock n roll attitude.
Cowboy chords with a filtertron and a dimed plexy are no joke. Mal knew exactly what he was doing.
Tight as hell! Really digging the live stuff
👍👍
Thanks man. Me too. Live is where it at!! Plus tuned to standard helps!

I like in the studio, album track when Malcolm plays a sort of percussive strum, like heard after Bon's second verse
Top job here too but👍
Thanks dude this is very good as usual.
Thanks again Woody!
Very nice thanks!
Thank you!
Thanks for lesson! :)
Your welcome!
Rock 'n' Roll Train, please

hey, i play 12 to 56 👍👊👍
Thanks BJ. They were so tight. My favorite part is the way Bon sings that last verse. So friggin good. What a time it was.
The studio version . Is Malcom playing more of a gallop on the E Chord ?
Hi Andy. Yes you’re right. studio version a bit different. He hangs on that E5 I think 5 times instead of 2.
@@malpractice5904 Thank mate 👍🙂
😈😈😈🤘👍
House of Jazz 🙏 please
On the way!! Couple of weeks
the studio version is really hard to get right.
Agreed!
I tried to play Thunderstruck flawlessly today.
It did not work. My fingers have brain damage, probably.
That one is tough. Took me awhile to get it and it’s still not perfect.
