Don't get me wrong, I love this kind of music, I love bass, I have an SVS PB-2000 in my small 14x14 ft. room that literally cracked my doorframe, one of my walls and made several fragile things go off my table and break. I've love tons of very low bass. But if I had a 2 day concert near me while I had work or school and I needed to sleep, I'd be annoyed too.
That being said, if I didn't have anything to do, I'd enjoy the music even thought my speakers sound better than theirs.

It was a Saturday night...not a Sunday night or week night. I think that residents close to the venue (I'm assuming this was at Dick's Sporting Goods Park) should expect that there is going to be noise coming from the venue when it's in use. If you can't handle it...then move.

Not everyone has weekends off and who's to say that many of these residents weren't living here LONG BEFORE a concert venue ever existed to such a degree? I like loud music as much as most other people but there's no need for this to occur. All they need to do is cut the bass by about 30% so that people miles away won't feel it shaking their floors... especially not at 3-4 in the morning. Start the music earlier in the day and end it at the same hour as most noise ordinances take over (usually around 10 p.m. - 12 a.m.).

Their complaint may be valid. But the media picked it up and turned it into their own story about how Bassnectar is terrorizing the people of Stapleton, just like the media would do with metal and hip-hop.
No, the media simply allowed people who were pissed off by the noise disruption to talk about it. The point of this segment wasn't that Bass music was "evil", but instead that the stadiums/theaters need to stop being d-bags and lower the volumes enough to not keep the entire region awake at night. I don't think this is a huge thing to ask. They can still have their concerts and such, but they need to do it in a way so that local neighborhoods aren't shaking.

it truly breaks my heart!! This was one of the most amazing nights of my life. It was my 21st birthday and we even got to see Wu-Tang Clan at this concert. It was quite amazing and I had such a fantastic time. Now when I go to Denver it's nothing like the Denver that it was in 2016. What I would do to own a time machine and go back to this very night it would be so miraculous

I was there and it was the greatest Bassnectar show I ever been to. I drive by myself from Buffalo, NY. Literally camped in my car at some peak about 45 minutes away from the show. No lights or anything. Pitch black. Amazing sunrises and amazing vibes… Idc what Lorin aka Bassnectar has done illegally. The fact is he makes amazing music!!! I AM A LASER! ✌️🎹🌎🛸

I FUCKING love bass music, and don't think that Bassnectar, or any artist, should have to turn down the volume. HOWEVER, raves should not be close enough to residential areas to the point where they can feel the bass.

From what I read, the citizens in that area near the stadium sign an agreement acknowledging that there will be loud sounds from the venue. Plus, there was a curfew in place at midnight.

73db? 90-95db is where humans will start inducing hearing loss for constant sound at that level. 125db is the normal threshold of pain, conerts are around 110db, and just a fun thing to note, the SaturnV Moon rocket was at registered 204db.
