I do feel sorry for Massacre Girlfriend and I like her - especially with how her poses are, which show her different emotions and expressions and from her default standing pose, she looks understandably shocked or surprised there. Her vocals sound sorta different here as well.
While the original is liked for its fast pace, this version has power and deliberateness on its side. To me the OG feels too fast, while here every note, every arrow is purposeful. The song itself is slightly slower to reflect that. The instrumental is powerful and the beats impactful. The hud (especially the hp bar) floats around, adding a sense of unrealness, as if this situation isn't entirely happening. Patrick's voice is slightly deeper, and combining them with this version's effects produces some truly dominating vocals. GF's vocals are likewise downpitched, but this does nothing to alter her implied emotions aside from making her sound a little more mentally in control of herself. All in all, this version of Massacre is, in my opinion, better than the OG.
