Dimash is incredible. Every time I hear that I’m blown away and I’ve seen this video at least 10 times. I hope your next one will be stranger. I think it’s fantastic and I think you’ll love that one too. Also one sky we did a video for and I appreciate the video but his live performance for me is even more incredible vocally. Not sure if that’s something you would want to react to twice once for the videotape and once the live performance, but both are worthy of checking out.

Keep going! So happy you found and can appreciate Dimash. There are so many amazing perfomances and he is not afraid to try so many genres. Again, maybe some are not for everyone, but I appreciate ALL music so I love them all. I learned not that long ago, that some people "listen" to music while others "feel" music. I tought EVERYONE felt music and I am sad to learn, that is not the case. One of my favorites that I never tire of hearing is Ikanaide from the Tokyo Jazz Festival. It is beautiful, technical singing perfection but all so emotional and how he uses his body to convey that emotion, is also perfection.

Dimash, here, was invited by Igor Krutoy, the man in the white shirt who stood up, one of the sponsors of the New Wave International Competition for Young Pop Singers 2018, to be a guest performer. Igor had met Dimash at a function hosted by Jacob & Co (designer jewelry and watches). Dimash was a brand ambassador for Jacob & Co. in 2018/2019. Dimash and his family were at the function and met Igor who then invited Dimash to New Wave 2018. At this time, Igor began composing songs specifically for Dimash and composed Olimpico, to be premiered at the 2019 European Olimpics in Minsk. There is a video of that premier but it shows very little of Dimash singing the song (for some strange reason you mostly see the sponsors walking around carrying the olimpic flag). The song won Dimash and Igor a “Victoria” Russian National Music Awards on 5th December 2019. He was winner of two nomination categories with “Singer of the Year in Classical Music” for his rendition of Olimpico [Ogni Pietra] and “New Discovery of the Year” (Russian Grammy). Dimash sings this fabulous song at every one of his solo concerts (so far). A magnificent performance is on Igor's RUclips Channel and is a taste of his Arnau Kinetic Voice solo concert in Astana Kazakhstan in late 2019 where 40,000 fans attended, but you can find other magnificent performances on Dimash's RUclips channel such as his Dimash Digital Show 2021 and 2019 New Wave performance (another guest performance). Because he is independent and has not wanted to be contracted by a record company. He only works with his family (the Dimashali production company run by Kanat, his father) and with different collaborators in China, Russia and the USA, without a contract. 😊 He received offers asking him to sing only pop, that was like locking him in a box!

This was a very enjoyable reaction. This was his 2018 guest performance at the New Wave competition, held annually since 2002 at the New Wave Hall in Sochi Olympic Park. The band A-Studio is originally from Kazakhstan. The keyboard player, Baigali Serkebaev, composed the song together with the poet Ilia Reznik, and the song was first performed in 1998. The singer of the group A-Studio passed away in 2015, and in this concert, the group was backing up guest vocalists. The triangle man is multi-percussionist Ilya Pokrovsky, a very talented man and a close friend of Dimash, and a member of the Dimash team (DQ Team). He plays various percussion instruments and accompanies Dimash in all his concerts. Someone explained that the special tribal riff is something practiced in Kazakhstan, Mongolia, and other parts of Asia. A similar technique is also used in some parts of the Middle East. It is referred to by some as a "glottal stop". We use it too when we say "uh oh". A Kazakh RUclipsr commented that Dimash used a Kazakh singing technique, called 'komeymen aytu'. You can hear it among the Turan Group. Sakha people use this technique too; they call it 'kylyhah'. I read somewhere that the tribal vocalization was a tribute to the deceased singer, as it is similar to a technique usually used by women in Kazakh funeral ceremonies. The final run is 21.73 seconds on one breath. This competition was organized by the man in the white shirt who stood up in the first row, Igor Krutoy, a famous Russian music composer, performer, producer, and musical promoter. He invited Dimash to perform, and it was this performance that prompted him to come out of retirement and compose masterpieces for Dimash to sing, such as I Miss You, Ogni Pietra, Your Love, Stranger, and Ave Maria, just to name a few. Since this concert, he has been collaborating with Dimash, writing music with his vocal range in mind, and often accompanying him on the piano. So you'll see more of him.

Sinful Passion - The story behind this song is very interesting: The band that accompanies Dimash is the same one that composed the song, without the singer who died after a heart attack! The band is also from Kazakhstan and this performance by Dimash revitalized the song. Moreover, in the final part he added, with an oriental technique (from the Kazakhstan region). The song was originally performed in 1998 and the band name is A'Studio (Kazakh pop music group based in Russia, "Alma-Ata Studio", Almaty city). The dead singer (who Dimash was a fan of) left the band in 2000 and passed away in 2015 and his name was Batyrkhan Shukenov. Dimash is incredible. Every time I hear that I’m blown away and I’ve seen this video at least 10 times. I hope your next one will be stranger. Keep going! So happy you found and can appreciate Dimash. There are so many amazing perfomances and he is not afraid to try so many genres. Again, maybe some are not for everyone, but I appreciate ALL music so I love them all. I learned not that long ago, that some people "listen" to music while others "feel" music. I tought EVERYONE felt music and I am sad to learn, that is not the case. One of my favorites that I never tire of hearing is Ikanaide from the Tokyo Jazz Festival. It is beautiful, technical singing perfection but all so emotional and how he uses his body to convey that emotion, is also perfection.

Dimash, here, was invited by Igor Krutoy, the man in the white shirt who stood up, one of the sponsors of the New Wave International Competition for Young Pop Singers 2018, to be a guest performer. Igor had met Dimash at a function hosted by Jacob & Co (designer jewelry and watches). Dimash was a brand ambassador for Jacob & Co. in 2018/2019. Dimash and his family were at the function and met Igor who then invited Dimash to New Wave 2018. At this time, Igor began composing songs specifically for Dimash and composed Olimpico, to be premiered at the 2019 European Olimpics in Minsk.
There is a video of that premier but it shows very little of Dimash singing the song (for some strange reason you mostly see the sponsors walking around carrying the olimpic flag). The song won Dimash and Igor a “Victoria” Russian National Music Awards on 5th December 2019. He was winner of two nomination categories with “Singer of the Year in Classical Music” for his rendition of Olimpico [Ogni Pietra] and “New Discovery of the Year” (Russian Grammy).
Dimash sings this fabulous song at every one of his solo concerts (so far). A magnificent performance is on Igor's RUclips Channel and is a taste of his Arnau Kinetic Voice solo concert in Astana Kazakhstan in late 2019 where 40,000 fans attended, but you can find other magnificent performances on Dimash's RUclips channel such as his Dimash Digital Show 2021 and 2019 New Wave performance (another guest performance).

Igor has composed quite a few songs for Dimash's voice. The two of them worked in partnership to produce the song and music. Dimash is a musical genius and has the abilitly to compose his own beautiful music and songs which he does as he has time. World class composers wait in the wings to compose for Dimash but he is very selective on what songs he wishes to sing. A digital album was released 2021 "Dimash Kudaybergen and Igor Krutoy" of all their collaborations which you can find on Amazon Music and Spotify and RUclips Music (and on Dimash and Igor's individual RUclips channels). 2019 Dimash was again an invited guest performer with 5 performances, 2 of them premiers and in 2021 Dimash was also one of the judges and guest performed 5 songs, 3 of them premiers.

This was a very enjoyable reaction. This was his 2018 guest performance at the New Wave competition, held annually since 2002 at the New Wave Hall in Sochi Olympic Park. The band A-Studio is originally from Kazakhstan. The keyboard player, Baigali Serkebaev, composed the song together with the poet Ilia Reznik, and the song was first performed in 1998. The singer of the group A-Studio passed away in 2015, and in this concert, the group was backing up guest vocalists. The triangle man is multi-percussionist Ilya Pokrovsky, a very talented man and a close friend of Dimash, and a member of the Dimash team (DQ Team). He plays various percussion instruments and accompanies Dimash in all his concerts.
Someone explained that the special tribal riff is something practiced in Kazakhstan, Mongolia, and other parts of Asia. A similar technique is also used in some parts of the Middle East. It is referred to by some as a "glottal stop". We use it too when we say "uh oh". A Kazakh RUclipsr commented that Dimash used a Kazakh singing technique, called 'komeymen aytu'. You can hear it among the Turan Group. Sakha people use this technique too; they call it 'kylyhah'. I read somewhere that the tribal vocalization was a tribute to the deceased singer, as it is similar to a technique usually used by women in Kazakh funeral ceremonies. The final run is 21.73 seconds on one breath.
This competition was organized by the man in the white shirt who stood up in the first row, Igor Krutoy, a famous Russian music composer, performer, producer, and musical promoter. He invited Dimash to perform, and it was this performance that prompted him to come out of retirement and compose masterpieces for Dimash to sing, such as I Miss You, Ogni Pietra, Your Love, Stranger, and Ave Maria, just to name a few. Since this concert, he has been collaborating with Dimash, writing music with his vocal range in mind, and often accompanying him on the piano. So you'll see more of him.
