Nazmo King The Virgil Arlo pickups sound good but I haven’t had my hands on them or had any in one of my Strats. I do have the Raw Vintage RV-50 and RV-60 pickups in two of my Strats and really, really, like them. They sound as good as a ‘62 Strat I had. They’re not fat or high-output, they’re extremely responsive and balanced and sound really old.
Doesn't a coiled cord add more capacitance to the guitar's output? I know Hendrix thought it was like a 'little amp' inside the cord. I think it lowers the timbre of the guitar so that it won't sound tinny. I'd like to know what Mr Hinds thoughts are on his use of that type cord.
Two things! One, the sound didn't seem right to me (Vocal and guitar) i.e. couldn't hear what was said very well. Two; You don't demonstrate a guitar while talking over it all through a video.
Awesome! Always a pleasure hearing Allen play (and talk) so passionately.
What beautiful sounds. I think I need one of these - immediately.
The body wood on my 1992 Washburn N4 is alder and I'm convinced that makes for the most even-sounding, resonant acoustic qualities ..
Beautiful playing and very nice guitar
awesome guitar and wonderfull player! =)
Great player!!
Loving these things Headstock is not a crazy shape either Sounds great
Would this one have a 12’ radius fretboard? Does anyone know? It looks pretty flat to me in the video at least.
What is the name of the piece Allen plays at the start of the video? The phrasing and chordal arrangements are simply magical.
I think it's "Joni" from the album "Fly South".
Allen Hinds is a maestro....
what model of raw vintage pickups it has?
Curious these Raw Vintage pickups' tone vs the Virgil Arlo pickups I know Alan also endorses?

The longer the cable the more highs it bleeds off. So coils will roll off more because of how much longer it is when unravelled
American made Fenders are iconic, these boutique guitars are cool though.
What is the name of the song from 3:57? Thanks
Joni form the album Fly South.
Great player ... Almost blacked out looking at the screen saver in the background at 7:12
