Hello my friends, why I love CLK mercedes, why do I have 2 of them, here I tried to express why providing 10 reasons. Please note that this is only my opinion. Thanks for watching, liking, subscribing.
Truly timeless, the pillarless design is absolutely amazing. The w209 has always somehow been overlooked, but those who know really appreciate them. Shout out from South Africa 🇿🇦 🎉
Benz Addiction my man, thanks so much for the convertible top video. I'm 18 and I just bought my first car which is a CLK350 convertible with 100K miles(after driving a 2012 Prius for over a year). I bought it from a car auction for 3200 USD and it cost me around 2300 to fix the body and replace the radiator(the car is worth around 8-9K in my area). The top wasn't opening because of a boot partition error, but your video helped me fix that by myself which saved me a lot of money, thanks so much. This car looks stunning, you literally can't find anything that looks as good as this for anywhere near this price, truly beautiful.
Hello my friend, very glad that my video helped you and good to see you doing DIY on your very first cars. Please Keep coming back, drive safe and enjoy your amazing Benz. 👏
I found this channel while doing some research before I buy a CLK350. I'm not that much of a Mercedes guy... but after watching some of your videos... I will be damned if I don't buy the 350! hahaha Thank you for passing not only your knowledge but also your passion.
Hi my friend, glad this channel is helping/ encouraging you. CLK350 is a great choice, just try avoiding the first 2 years of production if you can. (2006-2007) Good luck.
Lovely car, a nice sounding V8 in a compact coupe or convertible is very sexy specially when it is loaded with options and you can buy it for 10% of the MSRP. ;)
The first generation W209 is iconic; I drive a 2002 CLK430 Convertible in southern California. The color is a very rare Quartz blue metallic (introduced for the 100 yr anniversary SL)... a beautiful car.
7:07 Unfortunately, the replacement parts situation is less than ideal. While some parts are still available as new, others are not anymore. You cannot buy certain ECUs new anymore, the same holds true for some interior elements. If any of these parts fail in your W209, you'll have to find them as used parts. I love the CLK, but unfortunately, apparently Mercedes just very recently stopped making some of its parts available.
Congrats my friend. Sure it is, check out my other videos, the transmission leak might be the connector leak which I have the fix on my channel. In this case fix it ASAP as the oil might travel up to TCU and ruin it. Enjoy your Benz.
Good day brother! i have an CLK 320 2002 and i have a question regarding the fuel consumption! How many letters it’s it per 100/km? I don’t know is my car have any problem or no because per 100/km I’m spending around 13-14 letters patrol please help me with this issue if you can! I already changed my spark plugs bud it didn’t helped 🙌🏼🙌🏼
Hello my friend, it really depends to your driving style and traffic. But the past 5000 km average of my CLK 320 is about 9.5 L / 100 KM. If you only drive in the city and in slow traffic you might get 13-14...
And if you have any tricks to save the patrol or any solution for this issue please make an a video about it or just shear it with us♥️ just followed your channel, thanks for what you are doing very informative and good quality of videos 🙌🏼🙌🏼

Hi Allan, yes, thanks 😀

@@BenzAddiction that’s interesting, I’m currently looking at a 2006 one. Why do you advise against it? Any specific issues I should look out for?
Greetings from the other Side (Germany). I love my CLK500 too. Very good clip!

I love W208 too, I am thinking to buy one, I think they might have softer springs too...
True Mercedes ever
👍
CLK with the AMG pack looks even sexier 😅
I agree ;)

Yes, but relatively still parts available comparing to pre 2000 year Mercedes.
ive got 2 myself
03 500 coupe in everest green and 04 320 convertible in champagne
Excellent, seems like we are CLK addicted people 😉
Love the channel, I have a CLK280 ands it’s such a strong, well built car. One question, any idea how to colour match the AMG wheels ?
Thanks mate, this is a good idea, but unfortunately I am not expert in this regard.
Have you done a video on updating the maps? I have an A209 CLK350, also in Brisbane.
I am doing some MB command 2 to 2.5 upgrade, will try updating the map after, but this is taking a long time...
Give clk w208s some love 😭
I like W208 a lot specially the 55... I might buy one soon.
a real beauty...
I have a CLK w 209 too😍
but how can i prevent rost?
Do you have some ideas?
Fantastic, Well I think I have no idea about this one as Australians have minimum issue with rust.
@@BenzAddiction i am in germany, here is rost a big problem for CLK drivers😢
@@Shayansquotes Oh yes, I have heard that.
Did you replace the grilled on the convertible to 06+? It only has 3 horizontal bars =)
Very good point, yes it has some AMG touch ups too, Wheels, spoiler, side skirts... but this is the way I bought it.
Thinking of changing from 16 inch to 18 inch alloys on my clk coupe. Any thoughts on this?
I changed mine from 19 to 17, very happy with the downgrade to achieve great comfort... not recommended to go above 17, but that's me :)
I have a CLK 430 2002 and love it. 63000 miles under 10000 dollar's
Lovely car 👍
My friend convince me to buy 1. So far jus a small transmission leak. Am enjoying my silver 03 Coupe. Much nicer than Jags.
Congrats my friend. Sure it is, check out my other videos, the transmission leak might be the connector leak which I have the fix on my channel. In this case fix it ASAP as the oil might travel up to TCU and ruin it. Enjoy your Benz.
2003 clk55 amg very happy
