I don’t think Nestor will be the same pitcher he was 2 years ago unless he can be consistent. As competitive as the Rays are, other guys outside of Luis Gil and Clarke Schmidt gotta do some stepping up to really give this team an edge in the AL East.
A starting pitcher giving up 4 runs is perfectly fine. This offense scoring only 7 runs in the past 3 games, THERE'S the problem.

We just have to stay above water until then. The rays have been playing much better but we can’t afford to go into any kind of slump because we will not come back from that. We are barely hanging on right now. Springs and Rasmussen won’t matter at that point.
I'm not surprised the Bronx Bombers took a loss. TB despite their record has been a tough opponent for them over the years. I expect to win the series tomorrow with Gill on the hill and a better lineup than today. Congrats on the win TB 👍.

Last time I posted this I got a lot of pushback from fellow Yankees fans. Boone lost this game when he made out the lineup. Boone rests multiple starters after a Yankees win against the rays. He puts judge at DH and sits big G. Plus he rest another starter in this case Torres. I’m actually starting to think he does it because hes friends with cash or he’s trying to prove he can manage like cash does. It never works.

Lets clear this up. The Yankees are playing way way waaaaayyyy over their heads. Yankees have three decent MLB players. One is on the IL and they other is hitting .220, hits HR's. Dave Kingman all over again. Soto is a basket case. They should be much closer to .500 perhaps a few games below. They'll finish 3rd in the AL, right behind the Rays.
