Spoiled? If you didn't already know the result, you should never watch videos on a badly-programmed device that doesn't allow you to avoid the comments. I usually get my sports fix with these types of videos, but I only watch them on a computer, and I even do my best to avoid looking at the thumbnail, which also gives away the result frequently. The comments section is for commenting on the game results. So a badly-programmed device (and I realize there's a lot of devices that do that--doesn't change the fact that it's stupid to have a device programmed that way) is NOT the type of device that one should watch these videos on if they don't want the result to be "spoiled."
We don't have to pretend--he IS a star player. Look at his career numbers. Look at his numbers over the last week or two. He's going to get a huge contract this offseason. It won't be because anyone is "pretending" that he's a star player.

He's been selected to the all-star just two times in his career, the last one back in 2019. That's nearly 5 years ago and I'm not expecting him to rack up the accolades at this point. He has trouble getting the ball over the fence, despite playing on a field with the Crawford boxes. Next year he'll be on the wrong side of 30 when his asking price is probably 250+ million. Even if he goes on a tear for the rest of the season, no team would be willing to hand out that kind of contract to an inconsistent producer at the plate. Certainly not the Astros, even though they currently have no viable replacement. Bregman is a good player, but he's no star.
