Love the 1080 Ti. Though can we get a 780 Ti revisit in a few games with an overclock? There is a lot of performance on the table from 780 Ti with overclocking.
There is a lot of performance on the table, mainly because almost none of AAA modern game will even launch on Kepler GPUs because of old drivers and lack of DirectX 12 feature level 12_0 or even 11_2. And you also cannot use FSR2 upscaling because it is not supported and it just displays a black image if you enable it. Those games that do run will just work similarly to GTX 1060, GTX 970, RX 580 etc.

It’s not like he only tests brand new cards on this channel. I mean who even has a G100 if you can remember that video lol. It’s just for fun to see what it can do.
You can turn on Hardware Cursor in Keyboard & Mouse tab. It sacrifices maybe 1-2 FPS, but game runs a lot smoother and frame generation finally doesn't feel weird ( less input lag ). Also I observed that GPU usage stays more likely on 98-99% instead of 95-98, because cursor movement is GPU accelerated.
Oh, my God. I am playing this game on a 2080Ti, which is a higher grade than the 1080Ti, but I found that I was having a hard time with this game due to my CPU being an I7-8086k, completely outclassed by a 7950x3d.
I wanted to try this game with my 940mx just for S&G's but of course it wouldn't even launch as I "don't have DX12 support" Yet, I've played Cyberpunk on this laptop (poorly) for 3+ years 😅 It does lack DX12 "Ultimate" so that may be the differentiator.

Why at 4k? It's 1440p card, most of the games can't run 4k60 on high/v.high/ultra settings And he doesn't have one, AMD never wants to send him a card to test so he always has to buy them

Other UE5 dev have have to realize that art style have much bigger impact on Graphics than graphical features. Lag zone slow fare is great example of bad decision to prioritize graphical features instead of properly tuned art style which making the game unexpectedly heavy despite of mediocre graphics
Why is there DLAA/DLSS option in games (like Warframe , Fortnite, The First Descendants) when my GPU is a 1650 GDDR6 90W?! It actually kinda works but the performance is a little bit low.
Its not relevant since 2 years ago, its so overhyped, they were expensive, over msrp at launch. Some models like asus strix are all dead by now bcs of insufficient memory cooling. Even if you find one you can be sure its doing its last days of gaming.
@@filippetrovic845 Yeah this and the 3060ti (which is like 10-15% faster with less VRAM) are overhyped in 2024. Owned a 1080ti since 2018, it died in February, had a friend own a 3060ti. It was a powerhouse when it came out in 2020 at MSRP, but 4 years later not so much, makes the 4060ti having similar performance even more pathetic. 1080ti is not viable anymore for 1440p, when I had to start using FSR and low settings in every new game I knew it was time to upgrade. It'll get you by if it's the only GPU you own but my excitement for games would go straight down if I still had a 1080ti with UE5 games being pumped out. People might not want to hear this but the 3060ti is right around the same corner. Almost 4 year old $300 GPU, clock is ticking. I went with a 4070Super which will probably be fine for the next 3-4 years, I'll upgrade with the next console gen.
I agree first thought was this game poorly optimized to get good fps got to turn objects to medium and shadows to medium which I saw better looking games that run way better FH5 😂

My guess is games these days are built on graphics engines with lots of post processing effects visually optimized to target higher resolution/defintion displays with high pixel density. Looks good at 4k, OK at 1440p and crap at 1080p. On a 1080p monitor I recommend you downsample from a higher resolution and take advantage of DLDSR if you're on Nvidia.
@@Arasaka.Employee Looking more into it, it's mainly caused by temporal post processing effects, TAA for example, running higher res or pixel dense display can help mitigate the blur and give a more stable cleaner image along with more retention of detail. Without game devs direct intervention there is not much of a fix if the problem is TAA itself, if you can disable the TAA the game will probably look like a jaggy mess otherwise. You can also try messing with reshade with it's adjustable AA, sharpening and anti blur filters to customise the game to your liking but it can be time consuming.
This game doesn’t seem to be as optimized for AMD cards as Nvidia cards, I tried this game with both my RX 6700 xt and my RTX 3060ti and my RX 6700 xt atleast got 20% less FPS and 1% lows than my RTX 3060ti at 1440p Ultra during combat along with more stutters too, I wasn’t even bottlenecked either, I have an i5 13400f
I think I'm getting too old for modern games... this one just seems like killing the same enemies over and over in similar environments. Of course.. Helldivers 2 didn't do it for me either.. so it must be me. Though I'm sure being able to play these games with friends makes a big difference. But isn't playing ANY game more fun with friends? And I guess this game being free-to-play requires it to be a grind so playing will have incentives to pay real money for better gear and stuff. FWIW- I read some stuff elsewhere that this game data-mines your PC while you have it installed. Anybody do any hard dives on such accusations?

Some of this stuff can use your PC to do various things Also you may be bottlenecked by slowRAM or your drive is too slow(do you use HDD?) Check if everything consumes right amount of energy (use MSI afterburner while playing the game to see) Also check if your PC is even able to play the games you want to run
I have been running this game on my rx7600. There is just so much stutter but the frames are at 80 consistent. Even if I go to medium or low still have stutter, any tips? It’s really annoying

There's probably a good reason for it (that only developers know about), fortnite is a very complex game, imagine if they add shader pre compilation for dx12 but not dx11 and performance mode, imagine how unfair that will be and how angry will people be (rightfully though). I mean DX12 is already much better than DX11 and performance mode.
tbf the early maps isnt that graphicly intensive. then again after u finish story and start grinding mods and resources ull be spamming bosses anyways so who cares.

It's definitely showing its age but my 1080Ti continues to surprise me. I'm surprised it can handle Unoptimized Engine 5 as well as it does.

Its well optimized but i still get those big UE5 lag spikes when playing for long hours. But still love the game
Warning, be careful using 3060/1080ti level cards when turning on amd Frame generation, I had the game crash loading up for a while.

Lock the frames using 3rd party program
Locking them to 60 or 65 should get rid of the stutters
