Kayla QUESTION: Why don't you leave the paper that the tags are cut from on your mat and just turn each tag over and place each one face down in the space it was just cut from? Then can't you do a set up for writing on the face down tags? Hope that's clear. I haven't tried it but it seems it would work. Maybe you've tried that and it didn't work. Just a thought.
Hi! Good question!!! I definitely think that would work! You would have to see where the tags are on the Cricut mat and line it up on the screen in Cricut similar to how I did it. It just might be harder to line it up just right. I like being able to line it up exactly an inch down and over lol! Now I wish I would have tried that for the video though!! 😂
@@KaylasCricutCreations hello I enjoy your videos there very thorough. I ran into a problem. I was doing this tutorial and I some how set my Cricut to letter 8x11 cut print to so the project, but now I can’t turn it off. It wants to send to letter everything. Any idea how to turn this off? I can’t make anything since this happen. It keeps saying calibrate even though I stopped the project. Please and thank you to anyone who can tell me how to turn this off. And go back to normal 😅
If you make the number of copies (say 9) and arrange them how you want them to cut on the mat, then ATTACH the tags together so DS doesn't rearrange them for you (do before sending to Make It), you now can duplicate the tag set, set them up for the TO/FROM portion and you now have a template with the proper spacing for front and back. Hope that might be helpful.
I made tags for items I sell, using the round scalloped tag. Didn't know I could have written on the back, too, and that would've been so handy. Thanks for this. I'm 73 and got my Maker3 for Christmas. Neither my husband, who gave it to me, knew what it did. But he thought I'd like a new challenge. I don't do baby things, but you are an excellent presenter. Subscribed!!
Thank you Kayla! I was repeating mistakes until I saw your tutorial for some tags I was making for a special gift. I was attaching and it was cutting my inserted photo. Nice, clear instructions.
Kayla, thanks a lot for this video. It took a little time for the Cricut Machine, but they came out great! I'm sure my family would be so happy with their personalized tags.
I am needing tags all year at school for my Grands class. I try to make treats for his class every year, but dislike my writing on them. Such a great idea. Thank you!
Just found this tutorial, thank you so much! I make decorated cookies for my grandkids who live in a different state, so was able to make cute Halloween tags for their cookies this fall. New subscriber!
A little trick I do is, when I have something that I don’t want cut I just remove my blade. The machine will still go through the cutting action without actually cutting. Works great for me.
Thank you for making a clear and concise tutorial. Got my project done and feel I could do one on my own now. Tried watching several and they were just confusing, yours was great!
Can’t wait to try this. So clever. Love the print and cut. Gives you more color on the tag. Just did some Christmas tags this afternoon from Cricut. These are so much nicer
Very nice! I’d love to see any more tips, ideas & such for writing with Cricut markers, pens & infusible ink markers/pens that you have. I’m also an Access subscriber & I like it! Thank you & Happy New Year, Kayla!
Would you be able to create the size of the card and print the to and from first on the , then load your design to print and then cut out your tag ? Thank you
Love your videos you are great at explaining everything. can I just ask if I wanted to write text on the image to personalise it when printing (not using pen)do I just put a text box in and enter text then flatten I tried doing this and the text disappeared am I missing a step your advise would be really appreciated tia xx
hi there, I created my own background for a label, trying to cut it in a square but its cutting all the lines tryed flattening but nothing happened Tks Nolleen
Hi can i do the print and cut and draw with the pen or marker on the same side of tag or on a sticker paper? That's actually my goal!! Please let me know! thanks so much for your video!!
Hi Kayla: I sent a message on another video about whether you can print on both sides of craft board. I see it is possible now, but I want to write my own narrative on each side. And, I also want to use a large circle and some of the narrative will be written in a curve format along the bottom half of the circle. Are both of these things possible? In my previous message, I asked whether Cricut also helps with designing Logos. I would be including a Logo and then a narrative bit of info about the product that the tag will be tied to or sticker'd to.
Sorry, I forgot to also ask whether the Cricut Maker 3 can also print on Chalkboard Tags? I guess they're really wood looking chalkboard signs that are used as tags. Maybe it is the same density as the craft wood, only in black???

Thank you for this! I was under the gun to finish a birthday card I need tomorrow and this tutorial was a lifesaver!
Love it! I didnt know if i flatten both pieces, it'll only cut the tag! This will save me soo much time, great tips thank you!
Thank you so much for this very detailed tutorial. I was able to make some really cute Christmas tags because of you!
Thank you! This was really helpful! I haven't tried writing on the backs yet, but I see how easy that would be to do next time.
You did an awesome job explaining this whole process. I love it!
Thank you so much!
Love the hacks in the video!! And the chiffon ribbon is so pretty and goes so well with the colors in the tag!!
Thank you so much!! I feel like the chiffron ribbon really added to it! :)
Thank you so much for this tutorial! I used it to make gift tags for wedding favours (jam and succulents). Very helpful! Thanks :)
Kayla thank you so much for sharing this hack! So helpful. I always wished there was a way to write on back. TFS
Fantastic tutorial, saved me a lot of stress doing my hangtags 😊
Thank you! Exactly what I needed! Easy to understand!
I loved your video. I going to try this hack you did. I will let you know how it turned out.
Can't wait to try this. Thanks!

GREAT video, as usual. Thank you so much, Kayla!
Worked for me. Thanks so much for sharing 😊
They are beautiful! Thank you for the hack! 🎄
What type of paper do you use for gift tags? I feel like the craft paper I have isn't thick enough so the tags are kind of flimsy
hi there, I created my own background for a label, trying to cut it in a square but its cutting all the lines tryed flattening but nothing happened Tks Nolleen
You are a wonderful teacher! But how does it "know" to cut the little holes out? I thought once you flatten, it just cuts out the outside lines. ?
I only have an explore..will this work as well with the stylus thing? thanks!
You are a genius!!! Loved this! Thank you.
Thank you!! 🥰
Very clever!!! Thanks for sharing
Absolutely love this tutorial. Thank u
Excellent tutorial! Thank you so very much ❤️
Thank you so much, I’ll definitely try that 😍🤩

Thank you for this video! I learned a ton!!
Great hack, Kayla! TFS!!! Happy Holidays!
Thank you!! Happy holidays! 🥰
Really cute! Thanks Kayla!
Ohhh beautiful gift tags 😍
Can you make the hole in the card larger for thicker ribbon?
Thanks for this video, I have learned a lot
Great idea. Thanks for the hack.
What kind of printer do you use? I need a new one! Thx!!
This is so helpful! Thank you!
I do not have Cricut Access so am using System Fonts. The only "style" I'm permitted is "Regular". Is there a filter for "writing" on System Fonts?
Thank you enjoyed
What a great idea. Thank you
That was awesome!!

hi can you use a circuit explorer to do this tags ?
This is so great! Thank you!!
Thank you for the inspiration!
You are so welcome!
Question: How can I Print, Cut and Draw all on the same side of the paper?
Genius idea ❤
Why am I not finding the free tag? I also am not finding this many tags I am only getting 2 at a time to look at. How do I change these settings?
It’s gonna be a good video
Thank you! 🥰🥺
Nice
Is the pen permanent?
I added the tag and deleted like you said but the tag goes away. How do you get it to stay?
Oooh!! I think I figured it out ☺️❤️❤️❤️
Nice hack!❤
My question is this. Why is my Cricut cutting out the words I want to have on my tag?
Could you change the tag to guide instead of score? X
But how did you tell the Cricut you wanted to print then cut?
When I hit delete so just cut the tag it deletes whole tag
Easier to just stamp the To and From at the back
Couldn’t you have left it on cut and just not put the cutting tool in it.
Thank you so much, I’ll definitely try that 😍🤩
Great idea and hack! TFS!
