So much new and newer type stuff available for us. Been a T1D since 1984 age 11. So 36 yr now. I'm going on the half units now because of my body changing. I've got to change my insulin again. So I'm hoping the 1/2 units cut down on my lows. Thank you for the video. Helped alot.
I've used the Humalog HumaPen Luxura HD (not even sure they make it anymore) for years. I really liked that I can dial my injections to the half unit with it. I recently made the switch to the KwikPen and I've found it feels clunky when injecting compared to the HumaPen. As a tech guy (IT Director) I'm intrigued by the InPen and I want to play with one.
I was helping my grandpa who got refill cartridges for the first time and I saw your video to see how replacing cartridges works Its not possible to replace cartridges in all pens is it? The ones he uses are Basalgar KwikPen and they dont seem to twist off as you showed in the video

That's so interesting! I think you'd enjoy it, it has half units as well!

Correct, only the pens with cartridges are able to change out. My other insulin pens don't do that either
