For today's review, I took the 2020 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 for a thorough spin on the street and discovered what this iconic nameplate is all about. This car features a supercharged, American-made 5.2L V8 engine, producing 760hp and 625lb-ft of torque. It would be an understatement to say this car is a missile for the street, as it is one of the fastest production cars I have ever driven. Pair that with some genuinely impressive track-focused tech, and you have a car that is outrageously quick both in a straight line as well as through corners. I just bought mine for 85k with 6k miles. What you said. Totally drive able in slow mode. I like sport mode better... less bouncy without going to track mode. Sport is a good highway mode.

I preferred sport mode on the street as well. I also liked how the gear changes seemed more aggressive in sport versus track.

Great review man, I’ve been looking into getting one of these hopefully in the future. It’s such a raw true American car. Can’t stand even people cut me off like that turning into the furthest lane, you figure they can see a bright red car there…

It’s really a car that will have you smiling from ear to ear when you’re pinning the throttle. I couldn’t believe the lady had the audacity to cut me off like that, it gave me a good laugh watching the footage over so I left it in the video.
