BBS are just my most favorite band. Ain't gonna stop listening either. I'm in France now; from Oregon by birth. Well, rock on sister, rock on! Hope you've seen BBS in a live concert.
At 75 was about to give up on modern musicians until this great band showed up. What good musicians and they have a good beat and lyrics. So glad they came along.
I dunno, everyone in Alabama, Georgia, and surrounding areas that I've met have heard of them and love em! Maybe folks in Cali haven't heard of em,....yet
63 years and still ticking ...!!! my late wife was born in south florida and she used to enjoy a cold Bud & good 'ol southern country rock & roll ...!!! 💪😉👍🍺🍻🍻
I'm 75 years old and an old hippy from the 60's and I saw a picture of them on you tube and thought that they were from the 60's. A band that I didn't know about. So I watched them perform a tribute to Dusty Hill. I was blown away. I did not think there was any bands making real music these days, These guys rock. I love it.
Wow another rock fan who's 74. Me too! Rock on. Just saw my 9th concert in Portland, Oregon; Before that in Brussels, Paris and Milan. Cheers from France.
Not even up for debate. I'm 64 and have heard it all, seen it all and understand it all. These guys are out of time, you are looking at one of the best there's ever been. When I listen I am transported back to a different time, a different world, when rock and reality reigned.
My husband recently died and he loved these guys. He had MS and Camcer. He identified with the song Ain't much left of me, which I had played at his service. Thanks guys for all the joy you bring!
@@SteveDustin-r6i so sorry to read about your Husband, I'm in a similar situation but yeah when I first heard the song, I thought 💭 Hmm 🤔 this is my life's tune, Im in the process of learning it, stay strong girl 🇮🇪🍀🙏

WoW These old boys been around a while. Nothing these guys can't play. Great People. They just came to town. They just recently expanded to add another guitar player and percussionist. You heard Yesterday's Wine? The boys n Jaimie and George knock that out the park. Love Whooperwill live.. The TP cover of You Got Lucky last look had over 7m hits..
Probably the BEST, not only country rock, but straight up rock band to come along in a while. Great songs, harmonies, musicianship and attitude! LOVE these guys!!!!

Hey never too late! Over here in France; I'm 74, too. Have been following the Smoke since 2017. I've seen 9 concerts and hope to see more. Rock on to you as a new fan!
I had a firewood business in Marietta Georgia from 2005-2010 that was a side business to my automotive repair shop and Richard Turner was a customer of mine but I had no clue that he was in a rock band at first but should have because he looked like a total rock star ever time I saw him. He gave me a cd one day and said are you into music and I was like hell yeah I am . Well that was my intro to BlackBerry Smoke and I may have had a slow roll into really digging them but man I can't get enough now. I have always been a southern rock fan and am now a total BBS fan.
He hasn't changed. Relative newbie to BBS & went downtown St Pete a few weeks ago to hopefully meet (yes - stalk) the band. He came out of the bus, walked right over & was a perfect gentleman. Signed some CD's I had. We talked a few minutes & he went about his business. Later that night they just lit it up. My 65th B-day present toi myself. Thanks Richard for being kind to an old man.
Saw these guys for the 1st time last year when they toured with Jamey Johnson. They have been on repeat ever since!! One of the best live bands out today!! My life is better for discovering them.
Hot damn. I'm not a country fan by any streach of the imagination but man. These guys blow the doors off. Just found them new years even 2023. Phenomenal. Very tight. Musicians.
So so good this concert. Bittersweet with all the clips of Brit. RIP 3 March 2024. Damn - I'm in tears. We miss you Brit. But as he wanted: rock on Blackberry Smoke. Rock on and see you in Brussels, Paris, Milano and Portland, Oregon this autumn! Any fans out there going to those concerts, let me know and we can meet up!

I didn't think it was possible in this day and age to discover a great band like this. Once upon a time, fame and fortune were a bye product of Quality music. Now it's all that matters. This Band are exceptional. They're probably the best in The World.
I’ve been living under a rock wowsas. Oh lord . As a teen I didn’t have the youtube. Just vinyls in my room. 50 years on and I’m in my glory . RUclips has saved me through the last two years. 🙏🙏
I'm just hearing these guy's about a month ago unbelievable the first song I heard was this little town or something like that and I loved it these guy's are truly very good band I hope they go far because as far as I'm concerned best I've heard in a long time
One of the best soulful bands around. These guys are the real deal. So glad started listening to them. People told me about them for years but never checked them out. Why aren't these guys on CMT etc. Just shows you country isn't what it once was.
Welcome aboard the "fan club"! Check out the Homecoming concert, Rockpalast, Paris full online concerts and hundreds of clips. I've only seen them at a live concert 5 times (6th and 7th coming up in Europe 2024). Check the tour schedule on their web site and see them live. Unforgettable! They've been playing since 2001! I only heard of them in 2017 on Colbert... better late than never! rock on rock on rock on! From near Paris, France.
Check out my favorites.. one horse town and not much of me left.. cant even sing much anymore and ready to karaoke them both just so people look them up wondering if the real song sounds like cats fighting in a potato sack😂😂😅😅😊
The smoke are honest Southern rock. Just love them and looking forward to seeing them in Glasgow in September 24. Well done guys for a catalog of great songs, “Up the road” being one of many of my favourites. John from “Bonnie Scotland”
I’m 66 and found these guy’s of an episode of Trunk fest, wow what a great southern sound it’s really to bad that bands like this don’t get more exposure.Anyway great band
It's really amazing how the sum of all these guys are like the real heart of the South but from the '70s,80s,90s,2ks, and the best is in the here and the now talking the talk and walking the walk and it's FRESH not a rehash! Just goes to show our hearts are the feeling for what's in a song that never changes but knows the real deal when you hear it, feel it, and raises our freak flag in appreciation for the new ''Sons of The Southern'' way of life,, Bless Yas All,Bless U.S.(A) All!
Really like this band. They have a Humble Pie vibe with southern roots. Charlie has Stevie Marriot’s approach to delivering vocals, plus he’s a more than competent guitar player. I would like to hear more lead stuff from Paul. He is no slouch. Really solid rhythm section with brother bass & drums. To top it off, really tasty keyboards, which fills out the overall sound of the band. They also pull off the country rock vibe when occasion calls for it. I am definitely a fan.
No doubt I just discovered them about a month ago, seen about everything they've done on RUclips so far! Lol, Levitation fest video is my favorite so far.
Say it loud and say it proud. The South is gonna do it again!!!!! Southern Rock is alive and well and that makes me a real happy camper. Music for body and soul in these god awful times. Lord's Blessings on Blackberry Smoke. I wanna see these guys play in Newfoundland. They would feel right at home in our neck of the woods.
@@jeffwilliams8074 Hey Jeff, Skynyrd played here back in 2015 and they lived to tell the tale. Put off an awsome show. I thought I was listening to One More For The Road on my stereo. They were that good. Take care of yourself brother.
I stumbled across this band while learning my favorite songs, I'm a 58yr old 2nd rate guitarist, who was desperate to find the happy southern rock of my youth. So thank you, Dixie Chicken.
This is my first time listening to them and I’m 65 years young and I’m a minister of the gospel and I just wanted to know what they sound like. And I like them
Watching this again but with a very heavy heart here in SE Asia. My profound thoughts and prayers to Brit Turner †, and to his family, friends, fans, and his band mates. May he rest in eternal peace 🙏
I'm a 75 year old old school rock and roll guitar player who has covered Skynrd and Allman Bros music for years, but this band is one of the very few I've seen in a long time that play their asses off whthout all the bells & whistles to cover for lack of talent. Signed some CD's I had. We talked a few minutes & he went about his business. Later that night they just lit it up. My 65th B-day present toi myself. Thanks Richard for being kind to an old man.
@@stevekelly3138 Cool story. Thanks from another old man.
How did I miss this band .This is 10 years old.
Listen to a whole album without a word. Just smiling ear to ear. Assets.🎉
I gotta comment again. Been following you for over 10 years. You guys are tight in the pocket and charlie that guitar is an appendage to your body
Saw these guys for the 1st time last year when they toured with Jamey Johnson. They have been on repeat ever since!! One of the best live bands out today!! My life is better for discovering them.
Welcome aboard. Such a great band. I'm a late comer as well, only 3 years & now 6 or 7 shows later, I'm totally addicted.
Hot damn. I'm not a country fan by any streach of the imagination but man. These guys blow the doors off. Just found them new years even 2023. Phenomenal. Very tight. Musicians.
Long haired Rock 'n Roll music with a country flavor. Sounds mighty fine to me...
Any fans out there going to those concerts, let me know and we can meet up!
blackberry smoke is the real deal...just look at the smiles on the bands faces tells us they love what they do. just good ole southern make you feel good music. thanks for the great music..
What can I say?
Everything is seen. Professionals in this style of music
Holy crap - these guys are - STUNNINGLY GREAT!!! Something about Southern Rock that reaches down into your soul!
Acabo de descubrir esta banda y no puedo parar de escucharlos.
Saludos desde España 🇪🇦
back 6 yrs later...STILL and ALWAYS am gonna LOVE BBS! They are amazing....sound just like their CD's in person, only its LIVE. Phenominal...Gotta see these guys...they are THE bomb...
Glad you added that second B.....
@@derekeimer7758 lol, thanks Derek
As a Tennessee native, long live Southern Rock! Fuck yea!
I didn't think it was possible in this day and age to discover a great band like this. Once upon a time, fame and fortune were a bye product of Quality music. Now it's all that matters. This Band are exceptional. They're probably the best in The World.
I love Blackberry Smoke. Great band
The New Kings of Southern Rock
go back to sleep
@@TheAxzom These guys are hard to beat. They can play anything. Charlie is one of the best guitarists out there today..
the best band on the fucking planet.
Love the sound and vibe. If the Allman Brothers and the Black Crows had a baby.......this would be it.
i saw them last night for the first time and thought the exact same thing!!! they rock!
Georgia Satellites too
I think there could be a bit of Skynyrd in there too
Love these guys!
....and grateful dead....
I’ve been living under a rock wowsas. Oh lord . As a teen I didn’t have the youtube. Just vinyls in my room. 50 years on and I’m in my glory . RUclips has saved me through the last two years. 🙏🙏
Their screening block bot is broken as shyt...but def is a strong replacement for MTV and vh1 since they forgot what a music video even looks like😢
These guys are the best Band i've heard in years, Great Band.
I love the backstories.
How have I not known about these guys? They are totally kicking down the doors!
Great show RIP Brit!
Nelson DeJesus I
YES!
Absolutely best country blues & rockabilly mix . Great bunch of good old boys playin' their heart out . Fun for everyone
Just discovered these, now I am addicted to all their music.
there gettin ready for a tour check them out
No doubt I just discovered them about a month ago, seen about everything they've done on RUclips so far!
You better head South son. Newfoundland is WAY too north for Southern Boyz. BBS is a BADASS band though. You got that right!
@@jeffwilliams8074 Hey Jeff, Skynyrd played here back in 2015 and they lived to tell the tale. Put off an awsome show. I thought I was listening to One More For The Road on my stereo. They were that good. Take care of yourself brother.
Great performance from a great band!! Thank you!
And I like them
I'm really enjoying hearing about their own lives and their connection with the band and the touring. They's just people! Just like us!
I think I can honestly call myself a Blackberry Smoker. :D
64 years old, send me some tickets...My new favorite band.
Found "Ain't much left of me" on RUclips, then saw them live ❤Fan for Life
Watching this again but with a very heavy heart here in SE Asia.
These guys are the real deal, looking forward to seeingthem later this month in Helotes, Texas, got my tickets!
These southern gentlemen are delivering beautiful southern soul music, love and peace to y'all !
71 and still loving Blackberry Smoke
The Whippoorwill makes me cry every time I hear it. I remember friends who have passed and this song if for them. Lili.
Long haired southern country guys, Yeehaaaaw, that's what I'm talking about. Bring it!!!!! Come on sugar let's dance.😅😅😅😅😅❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤I love it. Light it up!
Reminds me somehow when i first discovered 'Black Crows' 25 years ago...Both, Blackberry Smoke and Crows are so much authentic...
Not really.
How so?
I just discovered them accidentally and the first thing I thought was they remind of black crows there great
The Black Crows was the first thing that came to mind, for me, also. I found them thanks to the Michael Berry Show. FKN AMAZING BAND!
So much better talent than the BC. Song writing, 70's country, blues, rock authenticity. BEST band to come along in 35 years!
Just started to listen to this band. These guys are great.I will keep listening for sure.
Yikes this was 8 years ago. BBS has come a long way since. Their kids are now in their teens. Lovely to get a little bit of their personal life. Have had the chance to meet them twice in Meet and Greet. So down to earth. Happy birthday Charlie on 11 July 2023. Flying to the west coast USA to see them 15 Sept in Tacoma. See them live at a concert if you can. You won't regret nor forget it. My favorite band. From France.
Just saw them first time on NYE in Spartanburg SC. Amazing show!!
@@reggaehippy1 So glad you saw them live. Super band! Rick on.
Well that is rock on
Damn autocorrect @reggaehippy1
Best band ever! my daughter has been watching this concert since she was 4 years old. She is now 10 years old. BlackBerrySmoke will be her first concert!!! hoping there is a west coast tour in 2021!!
This band is outstanding. Charlie Starr is just the tip of the iceberg. So versatile and so entertaining.
The reason we didn't hear about them is cause they didn't do the Nashville thing so they were not on the radio so it took longer fore the word to get out
Watching and listening to this band is watching a slice of American music history. Nothing fancy, just rock and roll like it was meant to be.
Love how they have the rugs down on stage. Like jammin' with your friends in the living room.
touched those rugs in Portland, Oregon. Rock and roll rugs! Lili Kiki.
Southern rock lives and this 70 year old is glad to hear it.
I love Blackberry Smoke"music. Dimas Augusto - Ribeirão Preto - SP - Brasil
southern rock The Best Blackberry Smoke !! TMJ bhroder ...Sérgio Franca SP BRAZIL 🇧🇷 🇧🇷 🇧🇷
Skynyrd is ever in my hearth, but blackberry is ever in my mind.
