    I ride my 200ex on off-road trails & gravel back roads mostly, I'll probably go with 46 or 50 tooth for the extra acceleration power through the dirt. But if I had more paved roads I'd rock that 40

    This bike is awesome not too sure what to do next. So far. Street tires, nitros, bullet flywheel this bike should be done far as I know. It's now faster than the 100cc mini bike. Although y'all never change the socket on the smaller bike. The rear might be 75tooth and it topped out 40mph Maybe it need 5-10 teeth down. Not to much or it won't reach past 40mph at all. And it's a slight chance the jackshaft set up might give you more speed than the torque converter. You can change the sprockets on the jackshaft too for more speed. Another guy did 55 mph on a ct200u by making the smaller sprocket on the jacketshaft bigger. It turned the back wheel more than a smaller sprocket

    • @Black66
      @Black66  3 года назад +2

      Ya, it's all about gearing. It all depends on what you want out of the bike. We could gear it for more top speed, but we want a balance between top speed and low-end torque.

    I'm so confused I thought for a higher top speed you needed more teeth on the rear not less lol ? But what the hell do I know ? I was just looking at 60 tooth sprockets on line to replace my 50 tooth but now that I saw this video I'm like HUH ? I need to buy a lower tooth sprocket instead ?

      Ya, a smaller rear sprocket should get you some more top speed .
