Lost all of the air in the rear tire of my Vatacci Spark 150 going 40mph. Just all air, all at once. Talk about a scary feeling. Hade to walk a half a mile home to get my truck, then drive to my storage for the ATV ramp and return to the scene. Got the scooter front tire into the bed of the truck only to have the center of the scooter bottom out and then I was stuck. Could not get it in to the truck and could not get it to come down. Luckily someone stopped and helped me. Crazy thing is after adding air it has not gone flat for six months. What a scary feeling it was, and it has taken a while for me to get back up to speed.
@@stephen2wheels Texas- To get a motorcycle license you have to go to motorcycle school..... I've been riding 35 years and I've flunked the course... $300 a pop.... Everyone in my class flocked except for 1 person.... It usually takes 2 or 3Times to pass the class you just have to keep going back and back.... Privately owned school...
@@bethalpha If you can, go to a different school…I took a $300 class and passed the first time. Also, here you can get a permit that’s good for 6 months just by doing the written portion of the test…just no interstate or nighttime riding (I’m in the Atlanta, GA area).
A little bit off. My Vitacci 150 is ten miles per hour optomistic. Shows much faster then I am going. Did not realize how bad it was until I passed one of those road dept. affairs that show your speed as you approach.
I hear you. Mine gets worse the faster you go: if it displays 35, I’m going 25. If it says 60, that’s closer to 45. If it says 75, it’s gotta be 55. I tested with one of those signs as well once.
@@BlueeyesBlueeyes-vn8jv A lot of the Chinese scooters use the same molds, so I’ve seen a few different brands that look like clones. Do you have the Taotao?
I have 2 a orange and green we have had no issues at all they have about 250 miles on them we put them in our toy hauler rv and take them to Florida from Texas I have changed the springs in the clutch to 1000 rpms it was a big difference in performance

@@bobbybates7407 Nice! I might use mine for food deliveries soon...just need the right bag/rack set up. They are pretty great as long as you check the bolts. Thanks for watching!

Geez, that’s frightening! Glad you walked from that, though!
Good review. Good luck with your channel.
Thanks!

Thanks for the content, i ride a buddy125 for my town bike
Nice! What is the top speed on one of those?
@@stephen2wheels about 60, most of the roads I ride on is 35-45 mph so it's plenty fast
@@johnengland8619 Nice! I believe mine tops out at the same speed, but the speedometer's inaccuracy makes it hard to know for sure.
How much is it new
It was $1600 new when I bought it.
Hum 150cc 50cc police don’t check for motorcycle license at least not in texas
I never came across one that did, but they technically could if they have a bad day 😅
Almost identical to the taotao powermax 150

Is there a way to put a speed limiter on a gas scooter ?
I don’t have the answer for this, sorry. Are you wanting to limit the speed?

state controlled license needed $900 schooool cost texas... Gave up and got an electric grom no license no insurance no nothing
Where is this? In GA, a license costs no where near that amount to obtain.
Oh joy-don't want it!
It’s been fun once I realized to check the bolts frequently. Thanks for watching!

Sounds like a garbage unit
I keep hearing a leaf blower or lawn mower.
