Wow Snowy, you're good at it! What an amazing job with Farfetch! I just subscribed to the channel! I'm very glad to have found your solo challenge through Squidgy's post! I want to see more! I expect great things from you! Good luck😉
It was random! Here's an explanation: Most AI have two stages: setting up, and attacking. The AI will usually setup on the first turn (raise/lower stats). For example, Red's Pikachu has a high chance of going for Charm on the first turn your Pokémon is out to drop your stats. The AI will then proceed to only use status moves when it sees a good reason to do it (e.g. setup weather, cause status), or randomly (e.g. Pikachu uses Charm again). If it does not see a good reason to use a status move, it will prioritize using whatever move that does the most damage. Rollout has a high chance to bypass this, but only under certain conditions: first, the AI must not have its chances of landing rollout be lowered (no paralysis, infatuation, confusion, dropped accuracy for them, or raised evasion for you). Second, the AI must not be at low HP. And if all of that is met, there is a high chance (~80%) of it prioritizing Rollout, and if there is nothing with a higher priority, it will go for it. Attract is *also* prioritized on the first turn your Pokémon is out, but it is never prioritized afterwards, and even if it was prioritized, Rollout is more prioritized. In fact, Attract has an ~80% chance to be deprioritized on subsequent turns. As such, the following was at play: - 20% chance to not prioritize Rollout - 20% chance to not deprioritize Attract - 50% chance to pick Attract over Stomp, the highest damage dealing move (Rollout is a weaker move, and Milk Drink is deprioritized due to being at full HP, so it's 50/50) Total chance: 2% to pick Attract on Turn 1 for Miltank. This move is so very uncommon to see from Whitney in solo runs that I never plan for it!
The reset counter for Farfetch'd on the leaderboard is wrong. It should read as "2". I did not catch this until just now.
"No one fux with Dux" is absolute gold. 😂

I wonder if Whintey used Attract because your attack was so high after the swordsdance? Or if it was random.
It was random!

4:11 the "it didn't even mattered" is video edition or part of the ROM?
Oh, that was just a little bit of video editing. I just put that there because the critical hit wasn't necessary.
honestly I only watch these to get good at pokemon lmao
AAAAA thank you for watching at least! I hope you get really good. :>
I would slow down a little in speaking. Seems very rushed. Good content though
