At my big age I've never had a malva Pudding before, not even a store bought pudding😭 I've just tried this recipe, I'll bake this every month, I'm sold💯
Surprising my husband with a dinner at home tomorrow lol. Can’t wait for him to try this. I know he’ll be asking for it again. I last made mamba pudding for my sister like years ago. Needed a refresher course.
Thank you for making this video. I tried this dessert in South Africa and fell in love with it. It is extremely hard to find where I live. I will make your recipe! ❤️
Hi can i make this this, is it better to skip jam or its better to use strawberry, i just have strawberry jam on hand now an also i dont know sizes but i know i have 2 glass square pyrex dish or tray an my big tray holds over 2 litres water under 3litres water an small tray holds over 1litre water under 2litre water so shall i use big tray or either works?
I mean should I use my big square glass pyrex tray or small, or should I use springform pan rounds i got 1 each 24cm 26cm 28cm halaal recipes sameera ebrahim super soft chocolate cake shall I forward recipe
Hi Mehjabeen! The recipe you referred to, requires 1 cup flour (which makes a small cake). You can use your small or medium sized springform pan, & use half the ganache to sandwich the cake, and the remaining half to cover the top!
Made this yesterday I didn’t make the sauce as I felt it would be too sweet. The pudding on its own was absolutely delicious . I topped it up with some custard
Thank you for watching, and for trying out the recipe! I’m glad you enjoyed it. The sauce makes it all the more decadent, try it next time by reducing the sugar, according to your taste! ☺️
An also i wanted to know regarding the choc cake its possible to make adjustments,: not to seperate egg an if its fine use tap water an also if its fine to leave out the coco in order to get a vinalla cake
Hi i wanted to know if you would assist me with recipes or it must be yours only? Its a chocolate cake Im not able to determine if il use my square glass pyrex tray which holds over 1 litres water and 2 litres water or big tray which holds over 2litres water under 3litre water
I just have this in the oven now. Im trying the recipe out for my friends birthday. Should the pudding and the sauce be warm when i put the sauce on to soak? I just presume it should but i could be wrong 😂
Hello thank you for sharing the recipe. Can I check with you why sometimes the cake doesn’t absorb the butter sauce? The middle part of the cake will still be dry. Thank you
Thank you for watching! ☺️ Poke holes with a skewer or butter knife throughout the cake while it’s still warm, then pour the sauce over the cake making sure to cover the entire surface of the cake, and allow it to fully absorb!
An another thing I want to know be it that choc cake i gave u or other cakes, wen oil is called for an just butter is available can a person make direct swap
Cakes made with Butter is more flavourful, and has a slightly denser texture, while cakes made with oil is moist & lighter in texture! The choice is yours which you prefer…
Hi il definitely try to make , theres sumthing i wanted to know your malva is this dessert supposed to be dryish ,/ soggy, i used to make other malva recipes but i wasnt happy so i never made malva in some time now as sum recipes which i used is dry and others which i used are soggy , so im assuming its due to tooo much toppings, as some people do use tooo much toppings , i have came across recipes certain peoples use sauce and custard an the icecream, an then others, they just used the sauce with custard without icecream and others used sauce with icecream without custard so does toppings make it toooo soggy
The Malva Pudding soaks up the sauce, the quantity of the sauce is enough to moisten the pudding, and does not make it soggy. A Custard, nestle cream, or ice cream topping, is added on each individual serving, so it will not make the pudding soggy if it’s eaten when served.
