- Chevy Malibu Brake/ Turn Signal Change! Having working brake lights is required by law and for good reason, if your brake lights are out then drivers behind you will not be able to tell if you are stopping and the chances of an auto accident is highly likely.
I have a 2017 Malibu and my turn signal started flashing fast with a notice on my dash that the right rear turn signal wasn't working. I looked in my manual and it said that means I have a burned out bulb. I found your video and it is so much easier watching someone doing the steps to change the bulb, than just looking at the picture in my manual. Thank you!

Model years 2013-2015 had a different taillight design, but the process on those years requires you to remove the rear bumper cover if you need to remove the whole light assembly.
Years '16 and up have this method, which is easier.

Whoever owned my 2016 Malibu LT apparently swapped the back lights out for LED versions and apparently the wiring is faulty because they all went out within a couple of days. So I guess I'm on the Wheel of Expense to get it fixed. Thanks, previous owner!

I change my 2016 Chevy Malibu back lights and front lights. And still going fast when I turn the Signal light on . So what to do next ? 🤔 I change all 4 at same time today . Still no change HELP 🤔🤔🤔🤔

So I changed my light but on my 2016 Malibu the warning still goes off any ideas on why?
May have a bad power connection may want to clean with some contact cleaner spary.
I mean show the bulb I wanna buy one before I disassemble the whole thing.
