Update to the build. I recently swapped out fencing and arms lore for wrestling and perry to increase the players sustainment. This highly helped in the harder dungeons and will help newer players live!!
i'm new so bear with me, but wouldnt that defeat the purpose of the added dexer debuffs and damage? wouldnt you just go bard tamer instead of you wanted that safety parry is giving you? have their been changes since this video that a new player like myself would need to know after starting this video's build and getting skills to 80 so far? should i drop fencing? what about an Archer tamer with one tank pet and the rest ranged with you staying out of aoe? i'm kinda lost because it seems there arent any decent updated tamer videos out right now and those that are have comments about changes/nerfs with little explanation. parry + resist or the punch damage thing i've seen could maybe be a thing? also, i love how you go into depth for new players at the beginning of your videos. the backstabber video and this one were so helpful for my char creation and ui, ect.
@@rbodenmann if he's wrestling then he'd use the wrestling weapon scroll thing so he could get the benefit of the wrestling codex, crane i think, for defense so he gets tons of damage reduction.
Been searching for a video like this. There are tutorials and know how videos but not 4 hours long nor do they go into this much detail about the options and macros/scripts. This is perfect for a noob. Thank you, really helped me as a noob to figure all this stuff out. You could literally take a college course on this game and still not grasp everything that is possible. It is all in the code. The things I have seen advanced players do is incredible. The game at first is actually intimidated and daunting. It feels like you'll never get this game or get into it because of how complex it actually is under the surface. If you can program really well and write code than this game will be awesome for you. Luckily, I have a friend who works for the DoD who does programming and is excellent at writing this stuff and the scripts. He is so busy tho but eventually I will tell him about this game and what you can do in it. Games like wow would ban you for the scripts you run in this game but this game is almost do whatever you want/can. Anyway, thank you for this great video. You may or may not know how much impact youve actually had on players but it is big :)....your video is the difference between someone continuing to play or quitting...I'd assume that the majority who watch this video as a noob will continue to play...
In the early game I prefer the old skills window because you can set up groups for your end template and one for waste skills you raised whilst in shelter. (I grabbed lock picking and remove trap to open the shelter chests for extra cash and goodies). Seriously considering re-speccing my mage tamer to dex
Holy cow I just finished digesting ur backstabbing video. And got it up and running. Gotta add this one to my cue as I've been playing the tamer also. Huge details
I reached 105 animal taming this week , probably watched this tutorial 4 times haha ! Please create a video showing the pet combos at 110, 115 and 120 animal taming.
Good well explained video, thanks so much for doing this, I learned alot and you talked us threw each step sometimes the small quality of life things can be the hardest to find. Thanks so much please do one on scripts or macro for looting your body when you die and quality of life things that make life easier.
Its crazy to think at launch UO never had skill caps and you could train all the skills like taste id and camping and 30 years later people making things like herding into a build because of the dumb skill cap they added in a futile attempt to balance things. Shout out to anyone who remembers when casting spells was frontloaded and animation happened as you were casting. Those were the real days. Someone needs to remake THAT shard. Pure chaos! 😂
I remember flying boats and 8x8. Used to screen shot every skill I got to GM because it truly was an accomplishment. That feeling of UO will never be felt in a video game again.
Hey just wanted to ask of you were still goikg wrestling or if fencing is viable? I like the idea of answord wielding beast tamer, but of wrestling is really a lot tankiet might need to sacrifice the aesthetic. THANKS FOR THE VIDEO! liked and subbed
You can do anything dexxer, even arcane! Just make sure to level the defense stance on codex first. I liked wrestling cause it had a defensive stance and a healing stance!
Thanks for the reply! I'm super new but think I'm gonna give wrestling a go, any tips for beginner island. Do I just run and punch stuff, do I buy a specific weapon, how do I gain stances. Thanks for the help!
@@ThatOneViking2319 punch everything! You will need a martial manual or gloves to do good dmg. But punch unarmed will let you his weak mobs a lot more before they die - works up skills quicker
An AK slaying wep? It would be red and worth putting on display. Dungeon slaying weps are very rare. Not much value in using them - adds like 20% dmg but not worth when you can put them on display :)

So do you still use a Kris? or now weapon now?

So with this update to the build, what would the skills look like with the change?

You're the man!!!! This is amazing dude. I was trying to level taming last night and was discouraged. Now I got this. Thanks so much!
This guy right here - Good content man, great video! :)

With Wildlands being out now, what would you change to this build?
First hehe very good tutorial
Oh boy! I miss Ultima Online... "A compreenshve guide: 4 hours long" that's a classy game!
Get back into it at www.uooutlands.com :)

really godo video.
You seem to refer to other chapters as other videos. Was this intended to be a multi-parter rather than one big video?
Originally yes 🤣 put I decided not to after recording
great!
How do you get your chat menu like that?
How does your live build looks like?
Is there any big utility or argument for using archery vs fencing?
Fencing is better for min/max. Archery is chill vibes - im playing it at the moment. I use archery for bosses more.
But Archery with Parryng and without arms lore could be sense? sorry for my newbie question@@legenisgaming
What is so special about the aegis keep dungeon weapon? Keep searching for it on google and discord but can't seem to find any info :/

The music is too loud, it really drowns you out at times
Looks like they changed the script and it is not killing the tamed mob anymore , do you have a working script legenis please ?
Need an Update video
This!
Is uo outlands during first dawn? Or blackthornes?
Don't know. It's pre-tramel tho
Outlands kind of has it's own deal. 100% custom map, custom skill abilities etc.
Music is so loud
I'm eight minutes in and I swear I saw you turn music off but there is this really shitty nintendo style theme music still playing....
4 fucking hours?
You're welcome.
