DC fans don't care which way you wire them, so you could make it blow from the front side. That is, switch your positive and negative around and the motor will run in the other direction.

How's this setup holding out? Mostly interested if you have had any problems with the dimmer, from what I've read is to avoid low rpm's with cpu fans in general not less than 50% power. Have you found this to be not the case, I understand some fans are designed for this. About to do the same thing to add fans to a ceiling vent in my van. Also the fan you picked has a lower db(A) than most of the ones I've looked at.

I'm on 2 years with this setup, haven't had any issues with it. Didn't know about the 50% thing. I use it in a small SUV camper, at lower RPMs it make almost no noise but still moves enough air around to be comfortable. I chose the fan manly for the low noise.

Thanks for the video , I like your fan , a question for you !
I bought a regular 12 volt fan , but takes 20 watts and makes a lot of noise, but works good, about that computer fan looks like perfect . Is it blowing enough for night time when your are lay down sleeping?

It's not a forceful breeze. It's just a light wind that helps keep me cool. For me, the biggest selling point was the lack of noise. I do a lot of urban camping, being able to hear what's going on outside the car is important.

Not sure, my battery pack doesn't show amp draw. But it's certainly very low.

Slow reply on this one. I would assume so, it says it's good to 30A.
