Thanks for the video! Love the trick of shrinking the tubing with the hot shaft of the soldering iron - saves another step of running the heat gun...

So I have the furitek cedar and python pro. Yesterday I was on my track and my rig was slightly stuck. My car let a long beep and then I no throttle. I moved the rig and it was like the battery died. Fresh battery btw. Turned the rig off and back on and it worked fine. Just seems like it get stuck easier than it should. Any ideas?

hmm only thing I can think might be the low voltage cutoff. When the motor is bound and you throttle there might be some major voltage sag and depending on the size of the batter (MAH), it might drop the voltage lower than the cut off and turn off the power to the motor. You can try turning off the LVC in the esc and see if that helps... just dont let your battery get too low. Larger batteries (MAH) sag less when you gun it.

@@TheShopMiniRC I'll definitely have to try that. Thanks.

If a battery goes below 3 under distress but has a resting voltage about 3.2 is it ok?

Yes. As long as it’s not puffing and not losing voltage when just sitting for a few days.

Really brother I'm not trying to offend you or nothing but you know how today's society is all it takes is a younger person messing with one of these batteries to blow yourself up and then they point the finger towards you you know I had one go off in my pocket the other day a brand new battery I think it was 2 weeks old and it blew right where all the wires went in I'm not going to mention the name brand but they told me okay we'll let the manufacturer know but I'm just saying like this video is one of them that is leery I'm not saying it towards you I'm just saying today's society bro I know you're damn good person and I know you're just trying to help people

I mention that they need to do this at their own risk.

Can you make a charging cable using the same method ? I love your chanel I picked up the Ovonic x1 charger all I have are the usb chargers and need to build a charging cable

You need an adapter form an xt60 to what ever your battery is. Then your balance cable goes into the charger balance slot.
