    Nice job, Lisa. I started with the SBUX Sous Vide bites a year ago. Then discovered the Egg Bites at Costco for twice as much at 1/2 the SBUX price, and NOW.....you have shown me I can make my own. I have a the silicone mold in my Amazon Shopping list and will take care of this this weekend. Very Excited !! Looks so easy.

    Well done Lisa, I will definitely give them a try. I see you don’t cover the mould, do you think this might be the cause of the liquid in the mould when you are tipping them out? They look delicious, thanks again for another great recipe. Jim.

    It seems a bit like a quiche, less the crust. Are the flavor and texture of this product close to that that?

    • @pressurecrisp
      @pressurecrisp  5 лет назад +1

      You are correct. Eggs, heavy cream and blended- the adding of air adds to making it quiche like. Very delicious! Thanks for watching!

      Hi Lisa,
      I tried your egg bites without the broccoli in my Ninja Foodi Grill. Air Crisp 300 degrees for 12 minutes. Was I suppose to add water to the cooking pan? I did not. Inserted a knife blade and came out clean. Let cool for about 5 minutes. Turned upside down and pushed out. The center one was almost completely uncooked. Liquid egg goo. The others still had dime size liquid centers. Spooned them all back into the mold. Air crisped 300 degrees for another 5 minutes. And then another 2 minutes. So 17 minutes on Air Crisp 300 degrees. They are not very pretty to look at. 😊 But... Delish! Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks, Dottie

      @@scubadottie I add water when I steam them-1 1/2 -2 cups of water. Steam for. 9 minutes then leave the PC lid on for 10 minutes-then remove them from foodi.
      If I was to air crisp them I would AC with no water at 300F (if egg mold is full) about 20 minutes. You could also use the bake function as well. I will be doing this today or tomorrow to test it out. Hope this helps Dottie.

    Nice video. I’d recommend putting the bacon and broccoli in the moulds first and then pour in the egg mixture. Makes it much easier and less messy 😁 #ninja_chefuk

      Thanks. I didn’t want the bacon and broccoli to all be at the bottom or when you remove them to be all at the top. Trying to get them more dispersed through the egg. Thanks!
