As a boater and occasional paddleboard fisherman, it is really amazing how ignorant people can be when fishing. It's really just common courtesy, especially if you have the luxury of a boat. That dude could have fished anywhere he wanted but chose to fish close to you guys on the jetty because he saw ya'll catching. What an absolute tool - you were completely in the right to call him out! Embarrassed for him. And the scuba guy?? Holy cow what a day you had testing your patience! Great videos as always.

I remember this one time I was Striper fishing in a tidal river. I was on this spot loaded with Schoolies and catching one after another. At one point I turned around and saw a shore fisherman had hiked what I knew to be at least .5 miles to the very spot I was fishing. I gave him a big wave, told him “this spot is loaded” and moved 100 yards away to another school.
He thanked me profusely and said “most people wouldn’t have left” I told him I’d like to think others would!
There is so much more real estate when you are on a boat, and if you have any experience at all on both sides, this is ALWAYS the right thing to do.
You are 100% in the right here man. Keep doing your thing!

I was casting but first boat went along the beach so close to the shoreline that it pissed everyone with bait fishing lines in the water right off. Then two morons came right up where I was casting in a small boat doing circles all over and setting up their gear, not even fishing yet. I mean come on...

    1) You're correct.
    2) I have had a diver just pop up out of nowhere. I was fishing the jetties of Wrightsville Beach/Wilmington N.C.
I'm pitching lures from my boat. Then a 6 pound-ish sheepshead came swimming by on the surface on its side. About 1 minute later, up pops a snorkler. ... Who scared the be-jezzes out of me. We talked for 30 seconds. I told him about the sheepshead... He said it was one he speared but go away.... Then he spotted it, swam off, and retrieved it. Never saw him again. 5 minutes later.... I saw a shark fin. I know it's rare to be attacked while spearing.... But, I'm not interested. Hook and line works fine for me.
    Nice clip.
    Nice sharing fish.
I tapped the thumbs up 👍 button to feed the algorithm monsters.

I can honestly say I have been in all 3 of those situations!
The Florida DNR was correct. The diver is required to have a flag. And although diving alone is not illegal, it isn't safe. I have Scuba dove that jetty at St. Andrews State Park, a hundred times and its always different conditions. I have been hooked by anglers, numerous times. But, I think they were being A$$ holes and casting towards our group. If I had to surface, I will usually tell anglers where the big fish are stacked up!
While fishing, I have also accidently hooked a dive flag and bouy, as our lines just got crossed! I always give the divers the right of way, because they can't see where the anglers are on the jetty. And they pass by in a matter of minutes, not disrupting the fishing.
The boaters can just be a$$holes too! While they can fish the entire coast line, they choose to anchor out in your limited location. Thats just being a prick!
It looked like the conditions that day were perfect! For diving or fishing! 😊

We had been fishing a sea wall and had some douchebag snorkeling for stone carbs decide to swim right through where we were actively fishing...He knew we were there but didnt give a shit, so we just started dropping rocks in on top of him and he finally got the message.

@@TheLawlessTide my wife says if I knew people’s intentions I’d be a lot happier in life. She swears most are just lost in their own world. I have a hard time buying that because I put others first and a respectful human but she could be on the right track. Anyway good luck out there. You gained my sub because of your kindness. Sticking up for elderly, calling out wrong, giving away dinner etc. Keep it up.

Boaters were definitely at fault for the conflict. Usually, if the bite is on at certain spot people should ask for permission to fish nearby within reasonable distance. Even if several anglers are casting in the same direction as long as they are communicating and not being rude then everyone can have chance at hooking. Every fisherman has been on both ends of this where you might have the hot spot and on other occasions someone else does. Personally, If I am on a hot bite I don't mind people fishing near me as long as they are cordial and don't crowd me. Sometimes you need to give other anglers a chance as well because some of them that are just starting out and are still learning. That first hook up may mark the beginning of their passion for fishing just as we all have.

It's obvious that the boaties aren't catching any. There's a lot of water for boats and it's not easy to move on a rock pier.

It shows you are a better fisherman than the boat guys. I am a boat fisherman but i would NEVER do what they did. Just me but i would have tangled their lines every time they threw in front of you !!!! But that’s just me you can’t fix stupid but you can give-em hell!!!!!!
