- The Dynaudio Evoke lines are one that we are going to be selling a lot of, in my opinion, the Evoke line is the flagship speaker for the garage second to the Cores. I am reserving the 50's for those of you who want a flagship floor-standing speaker for your home audio system. These will be a custom order, but they were too cool not to share.

For a home theater setup, these are nutty good. Even for the price. But I have to agree, they don’t belong in a garage.
Used to be able to buy their raw drivers. Back in 1981 I built a pair employing the D-28, D-54, and 30 W 54. Liked them but can't get them anymore. Although, Mr Skaaning's Audio Technology DK, newer iterations of His Dynaudio line are available.
They look like my old Polk Monitor 70s. I'm sure they sound great!
They sound great thru my sonos sound bar.
Sure beats a boom box. It looks like it pumps out great sound.
@@peterjohnson8631 Bad to the bone. Good choice.
What do you think about supernait 3, this that amp really drive up that speakers , or it's need more power and current
what song was played at the end of this video?
is the tweeter can get dented if accidently hit? I have got 3 dented tweeter on my b&w speakers.
Hi Matt!
Does these speakers play well with a NAD M33? I like a bit warmer sound, still neutral but a sound that goes well with rock music but also all kinds of music. Not for my garage....
/Emil
Yes, the M33 after Dirac tuning is great with the Evokes.
Try with a Hegel if you prefer a warmer sound
Disagree I think dynaudio explain what various things do as much or more than anyone else. Hexis is to reduce internal cabinet treble reflection to aid in clarity. They use aluminium wire coils for lightness on some cones and copper on others. Not sure how much more they could explain things as you say without losing IP. Thanks for the video I'm really interested in these speakers right now. That and paradigm founder 100f. My current speakers are a bit sparkly up top (not harsh mind) and don't have enough mid range ooomph for my tastes
We need a sound demo. Curious how much bass these throw out. I upgraded from the old Kef Q700s to the new R7s and the amount of bass they put out is mind blowing, don't really even need a subwoofer.
Which amp you have andrew
Rotel amps match well with these.
I don't remember the last time Matt wore pants
Dark in there
Sounded the same as my computer
You should put some light on it so we can see it.
Evokes are made in China as well. You seem to not know the product very well based on a lot of your assumptions in this video.
That is not correct. DynAudio has two manufacturing facilities. One in Denmark and one in China. All of the Evoke drivers are made in Denmark, but the cabinets are made in both facilities. Some are assembled in Denmark and some in China.
@@ObsessedGarage - You are lost, guy. The labels on the back of Evokes now state “designed and engineered in Denmark” and “made in China”. Do more research before you try to market a product to unsuspecting customers. Every year since they were bought out, more and more production is moved to China.
My is made in Denmark
I'm like you, a car guy and
A/V junkie always looking for improvements. How do these compare to the Revels you had? How's the soundstage? Do you have to sit in the sweat spot for best sound or are they great off axis as well? I'm still running Definitive Technology BP30 Gen1 made in Maryland in mid 90's. I've auditioned too to many brands to name costing 2-3 times the price and so far nothing beats their dynamics and enveloping soundstage. My closest store for an audition is 4 hours away in Green Bay.
Who cares? The phone your complaining to Matt about his lack of manufacturing locations knowledge is made in China… Matt won’t be right about everything. However he’s an AD. I’ll put more money that he knows more about Dynaudio than some random dude on the internet…
Only for the privileged few
This guy is sure not a mechanical. Talks big but would not do my garage or anything else. U have a great day.
Ha, ha... I guess you haven't seen any of my garages...or cars...or anything that I do.
