Live is full of missed opportunities but this is realy hurting me specialy that I never saw a concert live with all 3 of them :( . Someone mentioned that when introducing Babymetal to someone they should recommend two songs and I couldn't agree more. Not to say that they are bad (because they aren't at all), but like me the over the top/first time seeing a band like this is too much for some people. That's why a proper heavy song like Karate drew me in and then hooked me!
Didn't think about Aika as of a chinese... But she does look a little bit... dunno... IF I was thinking that she is Chinese - I'd think about her only as of a mongol chinese or an oroqen chinese - she has a similar form of cheekbones. It's just my opinion tho...

That said I don't think she looks very Chinese, but I'm also not very good at distinguishing between Chinese and Japanese. I think she looks a tiny bit like Michelle Yeoh though, who to me also doesn't look very Chinese. Here's a totally off-topic question: As I have understood, you are working as a teacher in Japan? Are you working with kids? If so, and if others are interested, I wouldn't mind hearing / seeing about your experiences. My impression about Japanese kids (none of them first-hand, though) is that they seem to be much more fun and relaxed than Western kids (sorry to all Western Mums an Dads). Not sure how to describe it. Something like the opposite of pubescent behaviour.:-) I'm wondering if there is some truth to that impression.
I mean it's a society of mainly introverted people who keep to themselves and don't boast when they win something. You don't want to stand out in Japan so it's better to stay quite and not voice your own opinion. However with today's youth it is definitely changing (see Shibuya, Halloween 2018). I also encourage my students to speak up but alas i'm only one guy. Of course all my friends are outspoken and get smashed with me all the time haha.

I agree with you on some songs and initially that did put me off listening to them - even if the music was awesome. But the singer (Sumetal) has such a strong and powerful voice. Listen to the chorus or songs like Rondo of Nightmare/Starlight. I mean I've only listened to like 5 songs haha but her voice is very strong in some songs. Almost like Nightwish or Evanescence.
