@@NaomiSV Welcome! and thank you too of course. A bit of an unrelated question for you Naomi, I saw the tuning wrenches in the video and wondered how often the harps need to be tuned? With that many strings it must be quite a task.
Ideally they should be tuned every time you play, like most string instruments. But with 34 strings, it takes a while haha! I’m often lazy and only tune every week or so, or right before recording. The lower octave tends to go out of tune faster. Factors like heat or humidity can also influence how quickly it goes out of tune.
@@NaomiSV Oh gosh 34 strings every time you play must be maddening! Only tuning every week isn't lazy, it's just a precaution for your sanity. I was hoping for you that somehow it would be more like a piano where you rarely have to tune it.
Oh great, now my RUclips feed and ads on my social media are going to recommend ASMR to me for the rest of my life. 😂 Thanks, Naomi. But I think your video was very creative, funny, and relaxing in a strange way! It would be good to combine ASMR with meditations with most people, not for me because I'm in a meditative state of consciousness all the time through my practices.

Fake nails make it impossible do to nearly anything, especially playing the harp (for which nails are usually kept very short). I think this was a one-time thing haha.

Now that was certainly different.... I was expecting your normal excellent harp playing. The scene in which you were simulating a scalp massage was the best! I almost feel asleep there. The brush against the hard string was also very relaxing. The sponges, on the other hand, reminds me that I need to clean the bathroom. 😉
