- Installed an IE cold air intake on my B8 A4 wasn't to difficult to install. They do supply a downloadable install guide online with step by step instructions. Overall I love the sound of the intake sucking that air in and the turbo flutter.

Well i have the ecs tuning hfc and downpipe + the magnaflow muffler and it will be custom quad pipes I’ve been spending too much $$ 😥

Mine comes and goes, sometimes it won’t go out until 30 mins of driving or sometimes it will go out straight away lmao. Maybe I should get it looked at ahaha

Yeah it was tuned but that sound makes it more fun to drive

Oh yeah love hearing that sound it’s so much better over stock the stock box is way too quiet if you drive normal u don’t hear it but rev and let it go and u hear that STUTUTU 👌🏽 Thanks for watching
I have a 2l diesel engine with stage1 ~ 187hp do you think there will be any power difference?
As far as i know stage 2 gives an increase but I’m not too familiar with the tdi how much increase depends on which company you get the tune from you gotta do your research

Got it from ebay for around $5 and it gives the same measurement as the computer.
How’d you make it so your dash reads your current speed? I have a 2014 A4 S-Line and I can’t get it to show current speed digitally.
I cycled through the buttons on the windshield wiper stock

Hey is your car tuned ? Because mine only revs up to 4,000rpms and is very annoying, in case is tuned which tune you have because heard that the IE stage 1 doesn’t rev over 4,000rpms either
Yeah IE stage 2 have a video on it didn’t do stage 1 went straight to stage 2.
Turn off traction control hold down the clutch and it will rev past 4000 rpm limiter ( that's on a manual not sure about auto's)

I installed this setup a week or so ago. Couldn’t be more disappointed. Car went and sounded like a car from the jetsons cartoon. Not happy going back to oem.
Yo what do you use to seal the top wall of the intake?
The IE kit comes with a rubber seal

You can do it they make the kits for manually transmissions

Well my car is a 2009 and pre 2012 have their issues like major oil consumption due to faulty piston rings. I’ve had to change the pcv valve (updated to post 2012), alternator, blower motor, water pump (I bought n aluminum one they’re better than the plastic oem) power steering pump and control arms. All things due to age, wear and tear. Another thing to look at is carbon build up on the valves maybe look into an oil catch can. But STAY UP ON THE MAINTENANCE. They’re good cars if you take car of them.
Is it legal and will pass smog?
I passed emissions no problem
