CMUnow - Healthcare Career Day | Colorado Mesa University

This spring, around 60 high school students from school district 51 visited Community Hospital and Colorado Mesa University for Healthcare Career Day.
Students started the day at Community Hospital to learn about the diverse job opportunities in the field of healthcare. The tour included real-life scenarios to teach students about various roles and responsibilities with nine unique presentations. Students later visited CMU’s Department of Health Sciences and learned about the wide variety of programs available in their own backyard.
CMU’s role in the event this year is part of the university’s ongoing effort to show that education is both accessible and affordable.
