With Orton and popularity I feel like post evolution he's always been popular just in different ways. The Legend Killer stuff got him popular for the fans to boo. Then there's his 2010s face run where he's popular and the arena basically explodes when the RKO is hit or being set up. Now with Orton he's either a face or heel yet when that RKO hits no matter if he's a face or heel fans will cheer for it. Gosh I'm so excited for the fans reaction to his first RKO back
I think Orton's best year as a face was in 2011. He was super over and the arena would basically erupt on a regular basis every time Orton made an appearance or went for the RKO or even the punt. Apart from CM Punk for a couple months (summer), no one was getting the level of reaction Orton was that year, not even Cena. His best moment in 2011 was basically the entire year of 2011 as he did everything right by feuding with the likes of Miz, Punk, Christian, Henry, Cody and Barrett.

Honestly, Randy's face run was absolutely good. He was well over with the fans even more than Cena. He was clearly the most liked babyface at the time. He had quite a decent title run in 2010, which sadly ended back in that one match where he faced Wade Barrett, but before that he was injured by the Nexus. Orton still managed to give a good match and won, but Miz had to cash in and ruin what was clearly a great moment for Orton, which turned out to be bittersweet.

@@wrestlingspremier regardless, what timing.
Please do the return of the undertaker’s American badass in judgment day 2000.
@@wrestlingspremier people say Orton was more over then John Cena lol 😂more over then Cena not even close the only reason randy turned face was because of the nexus vs John Cena story was everything in 2010 so randy needed to turn face to help John Cena
Voices in my head
Orton turned face for the first time since 2005.
this was a bit of a turnout because this is also when he started the craze out RKOS LOLLL. even though i prefer heel orton and bald psychotic serial killer look is my favorite.. i'll still dig when he started this nice run as a face.
I feel the only reason randy turned face was because of the nexus vs John Cena story was everything so randy needed to turn face to help John Cena
2010 was the year of Orton
No John Cena
@@trewilliams8411 2010 was indeed the year of Orton...he was more over and more popular than Cena that year. Orton was the no.1 face that year
@@KRob10 dude No it was the year of John cena your delusional Cena was the face for a decade he was always the number one face orton had to much anger issues and problem he was never the guy yeah he had a moment in 2010 but Cena was on a tear that year
@@trewilliams8411 You're a delusional Cena fan...2010 was in fact the year of Orton. In fact, despite WWE tryna push Cena as no.1...their was other years during Cena's run as the top face that other faces did better numbers than him and was the more popular face. 2005 was the year of Batista, 2009 was the year of Jeff Hardy, 2011 was the year of CM Punk and 2014 was the year of Daniel Bryan.
@@KRob10 dude WWE wasn’t trying to push Cena john Cena was already on top randy orton was trying to be a wannabe John Cena with his face run Cena was the ultimate babyface and main eventer that year in 2010 you hater
I hope he gets one last big run
Orton was one of those guys who never felt right as a face to me. Hes a natural heel
1k likes congrats!
If only Ted and Cody had surf shark 😂
THE VIPER 🐍
RANDYORTON
He 2011 babyface is good epic
Dammmmm does Orton T-shirts🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I was actually at dat years survivor series in miami
Damn, this was just before that 1000x times feud with john cena.. Forget randy Orton has this face run (thats how much that orton vs cena feud) whitewashed some of his smaller but yet memorable run in Randy's wrestling legacy..
Can you do a vid "is randy orton a better face or a better heel" (we all know the answer, but I wanna see the vid) and can you do wcw 2000
I didn’t know chad Johnson was on raw wow 😂😂😂
Face turns.
Heels crush.
RK-AD OUTTA NO WHERE!!!
I was at NOC 2010 in Chicago. I was 9 years old, so cool to see it stayed somewhat relevant over 10 years later and hasn’t been completely forgotten. One of the coolest experiences of my childhood. I got to see fuckin kane vs the undertaker for the world championship! Daniel Bryan won his first championship and Cody Rhodes and drew McIntyre won the tag championships and they both went on to become future wwe world champions (my prediction for Cody beating Roman at this years Mania)
I sure like to suggest a video on Chuck Palumbo
2009 bald orton will always be no 1 heel for me i remember hating him so much passionately
Please do the return of the undertaker’s American badass in judgment day 2000.
Randy Orton’s 2 month babyface run from 2019 to 2020 was completely useless, I can’t lie. They should’ve just kept him as a heel during that time
i don't think he is a bad face but he is still better at being heel
Wait, do you mean to tell me THAT RKO wasn’t even in a match??
Do a Briscoe brothers video
2011 was my first year watching wrestling and Orton was my favorite wrestler because my parents wouldn’t let me watch RAW😂😂😂
12:45 and this is the heel traits that I was saying from randy orton despite him being a face like cmon u got screwed I understand so u RKO shamus on the announcement table looks like something a face would do if u ask me same thing with the Justin Gabriel match sheamus interferes he got counted out and loss so what he do put a all out assault on Justin and Sheamus 😭😭😭 this face turn will never be replicated u had to be real angry to do the stuff randy did as a face but again he’s the viper so he still got some of those heel traits in him
I still think Barrett should've went over at this time
When your baby face Randy Orton was the good baby face I liked where The Miz casting is money in a bank contract to become WWE champion and his run that's all I remember remember edge vs Randy Orton because Randy Orton and edge I just remember when you're in that's all I remember from this run over my favourite match is edge vs Randy Orton probably I remember that's all from baby face run
enjoyed this video
Have you thought of doing a video on the anonymous general manager?
Wade barrett made more sense to be the heel champion more then shamus
Lol about rush hour. All three movies are on hbo max. So are all the fridays
