WrestleMania XX was an historical ppv with major moments such as the first WM debuts of Orton, Cena and Batista, Trish's shocking heel turn, Taker returns as the Deadman and best friends Benoit and Eddie achieving life goal dreams as they stand tall and proud as world champs with an emotional hug.

for real man the first time i watched mania 20 i shed a tear at the end, and when i finished it the other day it was still a feel good moment but i kept thinking like man, i really really wish eddie didnt pass. i truly believe that was the start of the end for benoit. but at the same time if eddie was alive and benoit still ended up doing it i wonder how that would have affected eddie, i found myself asking so many questions at the end rather than just enjoying it

The best triple threat match of all time, the best main event, I don't think this triple threat match holds a candle to undertaker vs Shawn Michaels career vs streak WrestleMania 26 or Austin vs rock WrestleMania 17

It honestly sucks that WWE is trying to forget about this Mania’s main event knowing what Benoit did. If Benoit never did what he did, it probably would of been included in 2K14 and 2K15’s showcase.
Wrestlemania XX is a Wrestlemania that will always have a special place in my heart, It legit has all the wrestlers that got me into wwe during my childhood and plus the time period is legit when I first started watching wwe cause I was born in 99 so this was the actual beginning of my wrestling fandom, it also gives me svr 2006 vibes especially because of the Chris Jericho attire, I’m not trying to sound corny this where it all began for me
WM 30 really reminds me of WM 20 Two former friends that will main evented WM for the world champion, then it becomes a triple threat match with the addition of an underdog with diving headbutt and crossface as their moves to win the match.
I was born in 94' so I was 9 during Wrestlemania 20. All my buddies got together and watched it, like we did for every PPV in those days up until around 2005/2006 we lost interest. I was in my first year of college during Wrestlamia 30 and was no longer watching wrestling, but I did watch Wrestlemania that year at a party.. Seeing WWE basically recreate the exact same Main event ten years later gave me chills. HHH and HBK were in DX together = Batista and Orton were in Evolution together. Benoit was the undersized best technical wrestler in the world who's finisher was a crossface = Daniel Bryan was the undersized best technical wrestler in the world who's finisher was a crossface. It was the exact same thing.
at the beginning of the show, didn't it have Vince, Shane, and Shane's infant son. wow, now that son is a freshman at Indiana university playing football. Where did the time go.
Such a deep roster. The brand split was still a thing. Seeing Benoit jump from Smackdown to Raw felt like such a shocking moment because the rosters were kept secret. Seriously I remember the WWE draft after Mania. Seeing Triple H get drafted to Smackdown and facing Eddie Guerrero for the WWE title was awesome.
Wrestlemania XX was beautiful. From John Cena winning the U.S. Championship to Eddie Guerrero using shenanigans to retain his WWE championship to Benoit forcing Triple H to submit to the Cross Face to win the World Heavyweight Championship to Eddie Guerrero congratulating Benoit on his success and shared a touching moment at the end of Wrestlemania. One of my favourite Wrestlemania of all time.

LOVED that WrestleMania ! That edition saw the departure of Brock Lesnar - leading up to the rise of John Cena and Randy Orton as well as Batista, from WrestleMania XX to 21.
By far my favorite Wrestlemainia. Both of my favorite wrestlers are on the top of the mountain and all of the storylines were so interesting. Rey's Flash outfit was definitely his best one. I wish Eddie and Chris had more time but I'm so glad I got to witness it and got to see Eddie's last match live in Indianapolis.
WrestleMania XX was my introduction to the WWE and wrestling. I loved it as a kid!!! We had the DVD set and would watch it in the back of the car on the way to hockey tournaments. So many great memories!!!
The Brock Lesnar and Goldberg match could’ve been pretty great if they actually cared. Also they may have had a better match at wrestlemania 33 or whatever… But in 2004.. they could’ve given us a much better match than what they gave us in 2017! If only they cared
I don’t know about that rumor of WWE trying to plan a match with John Cena vs The Rock at Wrestlemania 20 but I believe the rumor of WWE trying to get The Rock to face Shawn Michaels at Wrestlemania 20 but The Rock still had zero interest working with Him and that match needed a good build up which The Rock wouldn’t be available for that due to His Hollywood movie schedule but if that match would’ve happen it would’ve definitely stole the show

It’s one of the few PPV’s I ever watched live (not in person but on tv lol). The ruthless aggression era is the only time I watched consistently with Eddie being my favorite wrestler, and Mysterio/Benoit being in my top 3 (who’s number 2 or 3 changed depending on the day). The one-two punch of Eddie’s death and the Benoit family tragedy really affected me and soured me towards watching WWE. With all that said, Wrestlemania XX is an all time favorite of mine and really meant a lot to me at the time. The product didn’t get any better to 15 year old me, except maybe how the cruserweights were treated on the show. Seeing Eddie and Benoit arm in arm celebrating to end the show was surreal then and it’s surreal now. Still an all time classic!
I believe that it's very trivial to consider how similar the main event of WMXXX is compared to WMXX: A triple threat match for a major championship, two of the combatants (one being the champion at the time) being former members of a faction (who even teamed up and attempted to take out the 3rd competitor by putting him through an announcer table) as well as gaining previous championship reigns in the past, the third combatant who was the favorite to win (who also share similar styles and moves) actually winning the title in the same way.
Wrestlemania XX made me feel proud of Eddie and Benoit as a wrestling fan. The fact that their backstories leading to their championship wins made it feel like such good-feeling stories just made it feel like a happy ending of a drama movie and they taught us that hard work can pay off. Hate how Benoit ruined his legacy because this could've been treasured forever

I would give it a 9.4 the only match I feel like was truly awful was Brock vs Goldberg, each time I watch the match or highlights of the match by the time they end I feel like an elderly person. With the fact Chris Benoit will never be mentioned by WWE again due to *that incident* and the controversy around it, I feel sad that the main event of this show for how great it is, heck it might be my favorite Mania triple threat match so far will never be immortalized. They'll only saw There was a 3 way involving HBK and Triple H the world champ then Eddie Guerrero embraced the winner of the 3 way

WrestleMania 20 is a solid show, taker vs Kane ll was merely about taker's return to the dead man persona which delivered, the match itself was ok, wasn't better than their WrestleMania 14 encounter. The main event was awesome, Lesnar and Goldberg was a stinker, the fatal four ways for both the world and WWE tag titles were clusterfucks, the women's title match should have gotten more time than the playboy evening gown match, the cruiserweight title match was alright, Cena vs big show truly put John Cena on the map, the 3 on 2 handicap match established Randy Orton and Batista, overall this was a solid show
This is and will forever be one of my favorites Wrestlemanias ever....yes isn't perfect, but still what is great is STILL TOP TIER GREAT.....and yes is sad that now this is tainted by tragedy, but I will always said the same......I will and CAN separate the man from the WRESTLER and performance Chris Benoit was, and as a wrestler, he was one of the best that ever did it and he shows that here in SPACE, also Eddie vs Kurt Angle was just amazing, plus deadman Taker was back, and Evolution vs Rock n' socks connection was really cool, so for me this is still one of the greatest Mania no matter what.
I downloaded most of these matches on limewire. Brock Lesnar vs Goldberg surprised me because of the crowd. This was a dream match that went to shit from the very beginning
The first wrestlemania I've watched and still my favorite up to this day. The card was super stacked from top to bottom. - A glimpse of the future in Cena, Orton, Batista, Lesnar, and even Mysterio, RVD, Jericho and Christian - We witnessed Benoit, Eddie, HHH, HBK, Angle, The Rock, Stone Cold, Undertaker, Kane, Foley and Flair in their primes - Even though the Goldberg-Lesnar match sucked, I think it paved the way for the MMA/UFC-like short fights we see in WWE today - This was the mania where they started respecting the Undertaker's streak - We witnessed all-time classic world title matches (probably the greatest triple threat match of all time) - Of course, an emotional ending of two underdogs standing tall as the world champs which inspired today's generation of wrestlers.
Yh we remember Booker T’s new theme song. That he should’ve use it on his heel run on Smackdown that time. Dalyxman was right. WWE around this time was weird.

2004 was a mixed year for the WWE! RAW was good but SD was going downhill after the show. This one was a good WrestleMania. There's good but there's bad as well. Chris Benoit winning the World Heavyweight Title was the most memorable moment of the 2000s.

Fun fact: Jeff Hardy was gonna make a return as a surprise entree in the cruiser weight open match but with him signing to tna it didn’t happen

This is and will forever be one of my favorites Wrestlemanias ever....yes isn't perfect, but still what is great is STILL TOP TIER GREAT.....and yes is sad that now this is tainted by tragedy, but I will always said the same......I will and CAN separate the man from the WRESTLER and performance Chris Benoit was, and as a wrestler, he was one of the best that ever did it and he shows that here in SPACE, also Eddie vs Kurt Angle was just amazing, plus deadman Taker was back, and Evolution vs Rock n' socks connection was really cool, so for me this is still one of the greatest Mania no matter what.

The first wrestlemania I've watched and still my favorite up to this day. The card was super stacked from top to bottom.
- A glimpse of the future in Cena, Orton, Batista, Lesnar, and even Mysterio, RVD, Jericho and Christian
- We witnessed Benoit, Eddie, HHH, HBK, Angle, The Rock, Stone Cold, Undertaker, Kane, Foley and Flair in their primes
- Even though the Goldberg-Lesnar match sucked, I think it paved the way for the MMA/UFC-like short fights we see in WWE today
- This was the mania where they started respecting the Undertaker's streak
- We witnessed all-time classic world title matches (probably the greatest triple threat match of all time)
- Of course, an emotional ending of two underdogs standing tall as the world champs which inspired today's generation of wrestlers.

Yh we remember Booker T’s new theme song. That he should’ve use it on his heel run on Smackdown that time. Dalyxman was right. WWE around this time was weird.

Wrestlemania XX is My 2nd Favorite Wrestlemania I have this on DVD Stacy Keibler and Miss Jackie Vs Sable and Torrie Wilson Playboy Evening gown match was an amazing match this PPV 18 years is 10X Better than Anything Currently On WWE TV Goldberg Vs Brock Lesnar was terrible but their Match at wrestlemania 33 was way Better this PPV Was Awesome from Beginning to end.

2004 was a mixed year for the WWE! RAW was good but SD was going downhill after the show. This one was a good WrestleMania. There's good but there's bad as well. Chris Benoit winning the World Heavyweight Title was the most memorable moment of the 2000s.
