I actually just bought the two tone 8mm bracelet... absolutely gorgeous bracelet.... I dont have a problem with the clasp... Other than there is a slight gap an a few dead pixel moissanite stones ive counted 6 throughout the whole bracelet... Giess they dont do quality control before they send it out to paying customers!!!

Hi! Chandler, I've been giving this video a lot of thought.....I'm now about to buy the exact 8mm 22" chain from HB. It's the perfect length and size for me....border line BLING AND everyday wear!!! Because of the clasp issue, I think it is best that I will step up to a 24" length, in that case I can just slip it on AND off over my head WITHOUT undoing the clasp!!!!😊. Like any clip or clasp that relies on "friction" to keep it shut, the continual opening and closing will erode the mechanism with time 😮. Within reason, some watch bracelets rely on the "clipping" action to stay shut like the original Rolex Daydate bracelet, and I never heard of this getting so bad that it no longer stays clipped!!!! In the case of this chain, perhaps over time (when you get the new one) you can squeeze it tighter with a pliers. To never take off the moissanite chain and sleep in it may cause some of the stones to fall out unknown to you and get lost in the bed. Just my thinking....I would never sleep in a moissanite chain 😢. For right now, you have to return the chain with the loose clasp. Give us an update after you get the new one 8mm 22".

So, about this specific Cuban link, I actually bought it again about 2 months ago (I thought I updated the comments or bio already, sorry 😅), the one they sent the second time around actually had a fantastic, strong and tight clasp! So now, I feel comfortable recommending the chain again 😁. They also released a video a couple weeks after this one posted, saying that if the clasp is loose on this chain to use pliers to tighten it and you should be fine (so good thinking on that). On the new one I ordered, I didn’t need to do anything. It just was very snappy and secure already out of the box. Maybe me (and a couple other buyers) got flukes or something, but it seems to be fixed now. And if not, just return it! (But it should be ok). That was the only issue I had with the necklace, other than that, it’s gorgeous 🤩. Good idea with the 24in, but u have to recommend getting the exact size you want to wear and will look good on you. I imagine myself compromising size for the clasp and then just looking at it and wishing it were a different length and not being fully happy. This is a good amount of money (to me at least) so make sure you get what you want and makes you happy! And I would never sleep with a moissy chain either :)
Dang that sucks about the prong clasp… I wonder how many other people are experiencing the same thing… maybe you can fix it with some pliers or something? Love the chain though! Gawgeous ✨😍
A good amount of people had the same experience unfortunately.. The first time I posted this video on my other channel, someone said that they had luck fixing it with pliers though, and they said to make sure to put a thick cloth on it to make sure you don’t scratch the chain. However, I would be afraid of bending the metal in a way that loosens the stones 😰. It’s better if the chain comes from the factory, ready to go 👌🏽.
