I was not pleased with this song when AJ and Toby did it in an LA club. But this performance was pure Angelina beautiful! She took a fierce Beyonce song, slowed it down, added pure AJ jazz touches, and made it into a plaintiff refrain that brought home an emotional home run. No one else could have done it better!!

Think I enjoyed the LA one better maybe, is what I was trying to say. For the sound, some of the tiny differences, and of course the first time matters. The album that is coming out later this month is a Toby Gad project. Angelina is one of several artists that will be featured on the album. I think Angelina only performs If I Were A Boy. It will probably be on whatever label Gad is signed with. The original songs they say they have worked on are not part of the upcoming Gad album it may just be a couple of new songs that they worked on, not a whole album. Bad Valentine is supposed to be released in a few months. Could be released through Republic since it’s probably being released as an Angelina song. It would seem that Angelina has a completed album ready to go since last year (she announced in March of last year that it was complete) but the release has been delayed for some reason. The last time she mentioned it was around September.
Wow, that singer is amazing! Toby, you two need to work together. This version is even better than Beyoncé's. This girl sings with so much emotion. I got goosebumps just listening to her. I can't even remember the last time a singer had that effect on me.

Jordan opens her mouth and immediately you know who’s singing. The other two artists were good but close your eyes and they were indistinguishable from any other female singers save a few. Angelina deconstructed and rearranged this song with Toby’s help and made it a very emotional version of Beyonce’s uptempo Music Video. Jordan’s interpretation is much more in line with the meaning of the lyrics of the song, being a slow dance rather than a Waltz.

Angelina is signed with Republic records since she was 14yo but they let her grow organically. But now I think they will up the game forward..😊

I think her mother takes care of that bit..😊 allready after NGT she stated that she had to share her daughter with the world and she would have to protect her.. And you know her song Shield, which is all about her family..😉

The album that is coming out later this month is a Toby Gad project. Angelina is one of several artists that will be featured on the album. I think Angelina only performs If I Were A Boy. It will probably be on whatever label Gad is signed with.
The original songs they say they have worked on are not part of the upcoming Gad album it may just be a couple of new songs that they worked on, not a whole album. Bad Valentine is supposed to be released in a few months. Could be released through Republic since it’s probably being released as an Angelina song.
It would seem that Angelina has a completed album ready to go since last year (she announced in March of last year that it was complete) but the release has been delayed for some reason. The last time she mentioned it was around September.
I hope when she sings new songs just keep singing those beautiful old songs she sing so well, just gets me every time.💖

This is a beautiful venue and it's a charity event - that alone makes it worth spending some money on tickets. And it's about honoring songwriters who often don't get as much credit as they deserve. But it seems you got a bit more for the money this year ;-)

Jordan opens her mouth and immediately you know who’s singing. The other two artists were good but close your eyes and they were indistinguishable from any other female singers save a few. Angelina deconstructed and rearranged this song with Toby’s help and made it a very emotional version of Beyonce’s uptempo Music Video. Jordan’s interpretation is much more in line with the meaning of the lyrics of the song, being a slow dance rather than a Waltz.
