When i was 14 years old i used to supply a couple of fishing/Bait shops in Scarborough with Lug. No matter what time the tide was as long as it was favorable i would be out digging, Tilly lamp out if required, climbing down the cliff sides with my fork and bucket. I could easily dig 1000 worm a tide and at 3p per worm that was £30 quid a tide £60 per day. Those days you would have been charged 10p a worm, so i worked my bollocks of then went to school. Used to sell Trout to the local fishmonger and eels to the Gypsy community etc £1 an eel regardless of size. My first ever offence was poaching and fined £60 at juvenile court. At the time i thought well fk that its a days work. How things have changed.

Well we travelled down from Essex to try this Chesil beach . We arrived at abbotsbury only to find persons fishing as far as the eye could see in both directions. We had to struggle a long way on the stones to squeeze in somewhere.
We fished the normal way using all the best baits and never had a nibble. In fact as far as the eye could see, nobody caught a thing.
There must have been hundreds of feathers being chucked out . There were big bait shoals in the shore line and lots of tiddlers leaping on to the beach.
So we got out the floats and used the beached tiddlers as bait , less than 8 yards out.
We soon banged out the mackerel. Surprisingly nobody copied and they just kept chucking feathers , wasting time and effort

Nice one wayne. On ya session. I was out yesterday n managed 2 sole n a flounder and I just cleaning my shit down from 2 day. Just an eel n a flounder. I wish we had bream in the humber wayne , they look a cracking bite on the old tips. Am already counting down the weeks till mid October when the codling start showing on the humber. You can't beat bacon n egg banjos in the morning in ya bivvy I tell everyone hahahaha. All the best from GRIMSBY

I have to keep the sun off me due to the meds I'm on aswell. I bought a wide brimmed hat with a neck flap and some of them uv sleeves, 4 pairs for a tenner or something, better than a full vest in hot weather, just a lightweight hiking t shirt, the hat and the sleeves. Honestly, get some!

Great vid as always Wayne and wonderful to hear our song whilst you fish. It seems that fishing conditions are a challenge everywhere at the moment I.e. the East Yorkshire beaches don’t have enough colour particularly during the day etc. However with effort and the knowledge that sometimes close in with smaller hooks is the way to go, you showed that fish can be caught. Just confirming your merch and rigs are quality and more will be added to my Ch******s list (didn’t want to use that word in August!), hope you’re fully over the lurgy asap and if you fancy a bacon and egg butty (or 2!) on the beach, you make sure you have one!! 😁👍

I love the Norway vids mate, done a couple of long motorhome trips all round it and had some great shore fishing… mostly with lures for cod and coalies etc. My favorite place in the world.
