Since Tim Curry was mentioned, apparently he auditioned for the role of Judge Doom in "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" and supposedly the producers were absolutely terrified of his rendition of Judge Doom. And I for one would love to see his take on the character, just for the love of Tim Curry.
I've done a few bits of extras work, one of them was not long ago with Anthony Hopkins. Every morning when he'd arrived he said hello and shook hands with extras and whoever else was about - remember shaking hands? - and at the end of the shoot took some photos with us. Incredibly friendly man, really made the extra effort. It was also really great to see him act in person.
I think Hopkins himself came out with this one, on the Graham Norton Show. He was in a elevator with a glass front and a mother and son got on. Hopkins said they didn't even notice him, just some other bloke on the elevator. The mum or the the kid (I forget which one) then goes "Ooh this is like Silence of the Lambs!" Suddenly, Hopkins stands up straight and politely goes "Good morning" How much would you shit yourself!? You suddenly realise you're in Hannibal Lecter's cell with him!
Nother fun fact that ties into it, Beetlegeuse only appears for 13 min as well. Also for actors who love being their horror character i gotta give it up to Warrick Davis = The Leprechaun.
To the rest of the world there is no difference. Why would someone outside of the UK care about the specifics of an actor if that place is a small island.
I must say, I forget how much I appreciate the fact you guys don't have mid video adds and just a couple before the start, can just enjoy the whole video.
I met Kane Hodder at a convention here in Sweden, and got a photo taken with him. His gimmick was to take a stranglehold around the neck, and man- he's strong! Had to do a double take because the first shot didn't get the flash or something. And man! The muscles around the neck was sore for a couple of days after that. He also posed with a guy brilliantly dressed as Jason. A really cool dude!
Wishmaster has one of my favorite lines. When he threatens a guard and says it's too bad that he can't do anything because of the nature of being a Djinn. The guard says, "Yeah right, I'd like to see that." The reply of "Granted" with an evil smile is awesome.
Matt Mercer, voice of McCree in Overwatch has been known to play the game as McCree and troll people by quoting the line associated with the characters major ability (the character says 'Its High Noon' and then shoots everyone in sight in the head from almost any range). People freak their shit.
My best friend (an artist) just finished a painting of the Wishmaster on the back of a cruiser skateboard. It was commissioned by Divoff himself, and my friend is a HUGE Wishmaster fan, so he was geeking out the entire time.
My favorite would be Robert England as freddy kreuger just because of how well he could pull off the "almost" dream scenes where a background character is just him in a different costume that turn onto freddy
Anthony Hopkins is an absolute treasure, you should check out the orchestral piece he did years ago its fantastic! also his bits in Westworld the tv show were fucking epic!
My dad worked on the bikes during filming of Worlds Fastest Indian. From time to time Sir Anthony Hopkins would sneak off set to bum cigarettes from my dad. He signed a $2 bill for my mom
I always did like Anthony Hopkins as Hannibal in the series. There's something about him having a calm demeanor one second and then the next ripping off your face. It's funny when you think of or villains, the name Hannibal Lecter never really comes up. It always seems to be, Jason Voorhees, Freddy Krueger, Leatherface, or even Chucky. To me, a psychopath like Hannibal Lecter is more scary than any slasher villains.
This was weirdly timed because I just got a massive crush on Hannibal lector but the one played by mads and I just found out my gf has a crush on hoppy boy
Hey, If you like all of this hannibal stuff so much, the Hannibal NBC show is super good. Anthony Hopkins doesn't play Hannibal, instead, Mads Mikkelsen plays him.
In the early nineties here in Italy the publisher of the hugely successful horror comic Dylan Dog organized a festival of horror flicks called "the Dylan Dog Horror Fest". I think it was in the second or third edition that Robert Engund was invited to present a movie and to meet and greet the audience (mainly composed of teens and young adults, myself included). He wore the glove and slashed through a big paper sheet with a drawing of Freddy and started running among the people pretending of cutting them with the blades. Another time they were screening a Nightmare movie (I can't remember which one) and I was literally seated behind Robert Englund and Wes Craven... And Englund spent the whole movie re-reciting his lines wearing his glove and looking back to the audience grinning and laughing. It was beyond awesome. Englund is a very nice guy, very intelligent and kind to fans, at least as far as I can tell from my personal experience. And clearly he has a lot of fun playing Freddy.
Technically the pigs didn't attack Mr Lecter because they were conditioned to be attracted to screaming. Hence ignoring Mr Lecter and going for the guy who was screaming.

About James Earl Jones I have a funny story about him. It has been many years but most of this should be correct from what I was told by one of my managers. The company I work for hire him to do a commercial for a radio spot. He changed the company for eight hours but got it finished in one take. The the audio techs didn't know what to do with the next seven plus hours. Till someone came up with the idea to have him record answering machine recording for all the upper management for the company. They gave the recording out as Christmas gifts.
You know, I originally missed that part about Martha Stewart not snitching and always wondered why she and Snoop Dogg started appearing in so much stuff together afterwards. That makes MUCH more sense now.
There's also a story that P.J. Soles attended a screening of "Halloween" and when her nude scene came up and she says "See anything you like," a man stood up and shouted "Hell yes, I do," to which he turned around and saw her utterly amused.
They were not dating, they went out for dinner _once_ and she found him to be quite charming and thought about inviting him for a weekend but never even asked him because she watched the film again and got freaked out. I'm not even sure it was a “date” considering Hopkins was married at the time & has never confirmed the story, it sounds more like embellishment on Martha's part.
I guessed the twist in the first five minutes as a child and completely ruined my parents' experience of watching the film. That said watching it again recently as an adult it's a really good and underrated flick and it kept me on the edge of my seat despite knowing what's coming.
There is a few stories with kane hodder. Like he scared a bunch of cops who were near the set of one of the Jason movies. Or he went to the dentist while still in costume
Fun fact: Lecter never says "Hello, Clarice". If I recall correctly, the only time he says her first name is the line: "Well, Clarice, have the lambs stopped screaming?" He may have said her first name in another line I'm forgetting, but I know he never says the one line everybody thinks he said.
Assuming Kane Hodder really did go to the Friday the 13th viewing in costume, the only thing that'd make it better would be for some know it all to try saying the outfit didn't look as accurate as some others.
Speaking of scary clowns, went to the drive-in for halloween with my best mate and her fiancee and there was a creepy af clown at the ticket booth. I do have a phobia of clowns and my friends called out trying to let the guy know to go easy on us. He thought they were cluing him into an easy scare...he left very quick when i burst into tears and very loudly said no no no no. I went for horror and got what I paid for so money well spent but if that dude had been even just a smidge like Tim Curry in IT I woulda probably fainted lol funnily enough the second feature was rocky horror ^_^
A bit unrelated, but I have a huge grudge against Martha Stewart. We made her Myer Lemon Cake and it was the grossest cake ever conceived. A myer lemon tastes like ass. Who thought putting it in a cake was a good idea?!
When ever Tim curry is mentioned I don’t think of IT I think of the command and conquer FMVs also a good example of the villain just having fun with the character
Final Destination is the reason why a lane will be completely empty for like 200 meters behind a semi carrying a load of logs.

Awesome :)
Hannibal Lecter's a gentleman, which shows when he stands waiting for Clarice.
He had the exact same character in the book but the book lecter came off more roguish. He was waiting for her on the bed in the dark.
Can I suggest a video about sir terry pratchett, his disk world series, or something like that if like to hear your banter about it.

Can't believe they never mentioned Robert Englund as Freddie Krueger - who was also in the Wishmaster movie btw
tony todd and kane hodder
Favourite line from a horror film is Hello Johnny from the Shining. That is such a good film. Kubrick is truly a master of his craft.
I only just got around to watching Silence of the Lambs after meaning to watch it for years, what a fantastic film!
His interpretive dance to thrash metal is the scariest thing I've ever seen the good sir do.
This will get buried but I have to say this channel has very quickly become one of my favorite. I watch every video u guys put out. Keep it up.
The part with Final Destination was pretty funny cause i remembered that my older brother always watched Castaway the day before he goes on a flight.
I'm surprised that Robert Englund didn't get a mention at the end. Not only excellent as Freddie, but a genuinely good person.

A bit of an underrated horror performance was Anthony Head as the Repo Man in Repo the Genetic Opera.
That was a near perfect Lecter noise. I would've been duped had he not asked her to make it first.

One thing I know about these films- Hopkins allegedly based Hannibal Lecter's voice on DGAF superstar Katharine Hepburn.
