I use the regular Gopro mounting option and drilled two holes in it in order to strap zip ties around it to attach it to my proframe. It took some problem solving and fiddling around
Such an informative video, I would be interested to know your opinions on what type of mount you would use on different types of trails. I Very much enjoy URBAN SHREDDING and would like to get your opinion on which mount you think would suit this the best. also, in the future, I think you should include more urban shredding into the channel and more featuring of Harvey.
It is just a Gopro mount with some holes drilled into it and being held onto the helmet with zip ties. That being said you can also just buy a custom mount of your specific helmet.
Thank you for the review. I am using chin mount but I have a hard time to get the right angle that I want even Using a super view angle. I also want to capture the scenery. Newbie here and a new subscriber!
Thanks for subscribing! You should be able to get the right angle with super view with the chin mount. I recommend riding a easily repeatable section and try a different angle of the GoPro each time
I think to have a well secured chest mount is the best option. I’ll play around with a chest setup. Thanks fellas. Lmk if anyone has any affordable chest mount recommendations. Cheers
Yeah for sure a good option! We just used the normal GoPro one and it isn't super secure as the straps loosen off pretty quick, a third party option is probably the way to go.
Yeah the chesty is a good, cheap alternative to the chin mount. That being said the chin mount is better suited to people looking for the best footage possible and the highest quality, while the chesty is aimed at the average rider who wants to get some footage of their ride. Both are great though.
@@mtbkarnaje yepp but it would be weird wearing fullface riding rb. 🤣 and yes the most annoying about chesty is the angle of the cam. And its vary from mtb to rb. There was once where i forgot to adjust the cam angle and only realized it mid-ride. I got horrible footage of my ride. 😩
Great comparison and explanations! This video should have so many more likes.
Glad you liked it! We are going to be doing similar videos about bike products soon, so keep an eye out!
Great comparison, thanks! Been meaning to try the chin mount over the chesty
What chin mount do you own? I have a troy lee helmet so the vents aren't deep, most chin mounts look like they attach to them.

You’re right, we need a v2 featuring Harvey

Guys I have 1 question, if you ride with chest mount, you use gopro microphone or you use other microphone?
just the GoPro microphone :)
@@mtbkarnaje thx man
Loving the videos guys!
Shot, thank you!!
my favorite angle is under the visor of a full face. its stealth and i don't notice it. chesty all day for open face helmet rides though!
