Portuguese colony united as Brazil, British colony united as US, French colony almost united as Canada. All three are strong power in the world now. If Spanish colony was united, a real superpower should appear, even US could not compete with it. But now it is divided, no single Spanish country is powerful enough to show up on the world’s stage.

There are several errors in the Plata Region: Buenos Aires was first founded in 1536 and abandoned in 1541. It was founded again only in 1580 and for the next two centuries it only controlled the lands inmediately adjacent to the coast. Asuncion should show up a lot earlier than it does: It was founded in 1537 and never abandoned. The map incorrectly shows colonization spreading from Buenos Aires north to Asuncion in the late XVI, early XVII century. Also, the "indian border" to the south as shown in the video looks a lot like the one achieved only after the early XIX century campaigns, definitely not accurate for XVI-XVIII century borders

AMERICA IS A CONTINENT, NOT A COUNTRY
America really is just a continent, North America and South America, alone are two divisions of a continent.
As for example: Western Europe, and Eastern Europe, are divisions, of Europe, a continent.
I do not understand why the Anglo-Saxons want to make believe this, good luckily in other languages, America appears as a single continent.
For Europeans (Except Anglo-Saxons) America is a single continent, not a country.
In French it is l 'Amerique, in German it is Amerika, that is to say only the Anglo-Saxons against the speakers of all the other western languages (That we are very many more).
In no official document of the United States does America appear, to refer to your country.

So far, the most complete one I've found online, but as an Argie, there are some details missed.
    * The country went through other names, mainly because of civil wars: Provincias Unidas del Sud and Confederación Argentina
    * There have been many attempts to create other countries, being Uruguay the only one that succeeded and lasted. Others existed for some years though: Liga Federal and Buenos Aires alone. (Personal note: blame Buenos Aires and their anglofilia for these attempts). Other attempts didn't make it for so long as to be included.
    * The limit with the Portuguese/Brazilian empire was very volatile, even after our independence
    * Paraguay existed as a colony even before Buenos Aires
    * The first Spanish city here was Santiago del Estero, that's in the middle-north. After that, colonization continued from Chile.
    * The Chaco (now shared by Argentina, Bolivia and Paraguay) wasn't occupied by the whites until the second half of the XIX century, around at the same time we terminated the Patagonian natives
    * The Falklands/Malvinas were occupied by the British only in 1833 - they were part of our country back then
There are some other minor details, but I guess that will do.

España no era una nación política, y el imperio Habsburgo era una colección de reinos independientes que se mantenían en Unión dinástica.

In international law archipelagos are one territorial unit and establishing a settlement in the largest island is the same as establishing sovereignty over the whole archipelago. France occupied East Falkland, the largest island, establishing sovereignty over the entire archipelago. The British built a clandestine settlement, not in even in West Falkland, but in Saunders Island, knowing that they were violating Spanish de jure sovereignty in the area and the right of first occupancy, French sovereignty. France recognized the Spanish protests and ceded the territory back to Spain. It was never British, it was illegally and secretly occupied by the British. Upon independence, the continuation of Spanish rights was passed to the successor state, which is Argentina, given that the islands were administered from Buenos Aires.

The main reason is that because the family of the Emperor of Brazil, Portugal and Algarves, changed to Brazil, and started to develop here in order to create an even mightier Empire, later when he returned to Portugal to counter a liberal rebellion, he left his own son under the care of regents for him to be our next Emperor, he was the only real 'takecarer' of Brazil, when the Republic went in, my country became a political whorehouse, our country was also one of the first to stop slavery in the Americas, either forcibly by a naval blockade from the British, either on our own by our royalty, with the law of the free womb, the law of the sixties (don't know if this is translated correctly)… And later our Princess Isabel signed up full abolishment of Slavery. Like in USA, animosity stood against black people, but our country proudly fought in the second world war back in Italy with our regiments having blacks and whites fighting side by side like brothers which may have helped to mitigate much of that racism, no other big player on WWII did that
