100% agree. This is by far the most versatile addon for msfs. I use it for flying completly vfr or vor/ndb navigated. FP import for gns530 and kln90b works flawlessly. Furthermore you can create flightplans with little navmap, export as pln , then import in sky4sim and export to gns again from there. I also use it as FOM and checklist storage/interface.
Just started a career in Neofly and saw this was supported. Haven't tried this yet but may give it a go to see how well it works in NG (considering it's own program is a bit 'rough').
Really cool. I will consider buying this when MSFS2024 is launched. 👍 I’ll just want to wait and see if its needed in the new sim. But it looks very cool.
Can this be used with a Boeing or Airbus aircraft for flight planning? Im trying to learn all aspects but the FMC of the airliners I cannot grasp, granted only been "flying" for about 2 months now.
I just started using this in VR. My goal was to not need to take my headset off while finishing one mission (in. Neofly) and choosing another. I have not been able to get this to work. Any suggestions would be helpful. The are communicating with each other, but cannot choose a mission within VR
Hi, thanks again to promote this MUST HAVE add on for MSFS. Since the last update, I have only one map available under maps and I can’t import flight plan from MSFS or others sources. I uninstalled and reinstall…..same issues Are you aware of theses bugs ? ( paid version)
I have been playing Neofly. The pros - its for GA aircraft all the way up to airliners, but GA is its strongest point. You start off with a Cessna and work your way up. Its very slow to gain ranks up to captain - I mean slow. Ita also slow to make money to buy or rent the aircraft you will eventually want. The big con -The one thing I really didn't like about it was its more interested in having pilots fly for you then you flying yourself. You also have to qualify for your aircraft certifications - prop, turbo, small jet, and airliner - the qualifications are super hard. I still would recommend it cause its free.
Like your video, really good information, didn't tried that much flight planner, but yeah, in VR it's really good. What I don't like about Neofly and I'm not sure why users don't ask this so much, is multiplayer and liveries. In v3 they had some kind of multiplayer which they dropped...and they are investing a huge amount of time, resources and energy in the liveries...and I just find it annoying. For me v3 ticked more as we also had access to db...in v4 other than visuals I do not find many things I enjoy, I'm just waiting for msfs 2024
@567davefair these things generally have to be on the same wireless network as the pc is on. If you are using an inbuilt sim card and it's own data, it won't know what to look at. If it's on the same network, it's listening for specific ports and applications running so will "sync" with your MSFS session :)

Agreed G530 integration would be awesome
Just awesome, thank you.

Question for you... How does this differ from Little NavMAP? It does Sky4SIM strikes me that there is some ease of use as comparaed to Little NavMAP.
Good question. I would like to know that too. 😊

One thing I like about it is the notepad is persistent so what you write stays there between sessions or regardless of whether you close the app.
In a flight does it show you all the nearby airports?

Great video.
I'm just stuck on which to go for:
Neofly
or
Sim Bite Pilot's Career.
Anyone here got any input?
Thanks.

@@Synoopy2 Thanks for the reply. I definite will look into it. Thanks again.

How i connect with other devices??
How do you use Sky4Sim on an external tablet? I have a Samsung S8 Pro tablet and would like to run this app on it.
Web browser :)
@@OverkillSimulations I went to the "Web Browser" menu but don't see how I connect to my tablet. Do we need to download an app on the tablet?

Sky4Sim's website says mobile support isn't availble. How do you get it to work on your tablet?
Browser :)
@OverkillSimulations how you do it? I can't paste the link into my mobile
@OverkillSimulations I acessed in my computer, but I can't in any other device. (using opera browser)
True, same here. Is there a way to get it to a tablet? Must be, if you did it…😊
Try using something like spacedesk to make your tablet like another screen then open the view in browser and drag to the tablet.
Better than the all in one tablet?
I think so yes
I use both because each has benefits the other doesn't have
I wish it included a web browser so you can access the Internet while in VR.
