If I ever played Ben, I would have to play my Feather, the Redeemed deck. Because she can knock people out of nowhere with Commander damage. And she is the only deck I have that is Spellslinger Voltron.

That description of Strong Bad was 100%. There were like 3-7 flash creators that made cartoons/comics, and if they did anything the entire internet would show up to check it out.

The fact that Sean plott and spellslingers has not been re made is such a travesty. Here again he proves how wonderful he is at playing social magic. Lord knows he has alot of other stuff going on, but I do miss his magic focused day.
Spellslingers is what taught me how to enjoy magic. I don't think I paid enough attention to learn how to play at that point, but it could've.
That series was so dang fun. I had forgotten about it for a few years until now!
Sean cheated. He didn’t win. Obviously you all forgot the DEFENDING player gets to choose the order of damage triggers, not the attacker. Sean never could have done more than 4 damage.
Man when Day9 mentioned Bing Bong, I thought he was about to tell the "BING BONG NOOOOOOOOOOOO" story for the 100th time. I love it every time and quote it to this day

Well this is probably my favorite episode so far lol .
The best part of this episode is the Homestar Runner reference. Oh and every interaction between the other players. And the game play. And the commentary. So basically everything is Awesome.

Sean didn’t win. Clearly he doesn’t know how to play magic. He unknowingly cheated. Everyone obviously forgot that when there are multiple damage triggers, it’s the DEFENDING player who decides the order, NOT the attacker. All of his damage would only ever have been 4 damage. No more. This game played in error.
@@slysilenceCan you give a specific timestamp/example of more damage being dealt than there should be? Because, on the surface, it sounds like you might be conflating replacement effects for triggers.
I'm suddenly having my first big "I'm old" moment over Homestar Runner refences and I wasn't ready for it.

25:22 this is how my mom used to call me, I’d be bumming around in the woods by our house and would hear this and my ears would twitch and my head would shoot up like a deer when a twig snaps and I’d sprint home. She used this so much that friends I hung out with consistently picked up on the trait as well

Spellslingers with Day9 was one of the first MTG shows I started watching when I got into Magic. It's so cool to see him playing with you guys.
The honking as Day9 is bobing was amazingly fitting, it could be him dropping curses or actually honking.
This feels almost like an episode of Spellslingers and I love it

Truly a gem of an episode, I was laughing the entire time.
We’re 6 minutes in, the game hasn’t even started, we’ve already gotten a “quack warning”, and the at home version of “kyle hill at home”; the hijinks are already in full effect. Commentary, hilarious. Gotta say tho, really thrown that were on the CAH set, as opposed to just being on webcam

I was concerned when I saw the episode length that the game would end to soon, but honestly this is my absolute favourite episode of my absolute favourite commander show!

God, it's so long since I watched Sean playing Magic! Last time it was something like 2019-2020 when he made me playing Naya Control deck in standard for over 1 year. A deck was super fun to play!:)
