everytime someone does the niv mizzet + curiosity combo on me in Arena I want to make them play it out just out of pettiness but then I realize I'm wasting my time as well

i have seen people fail to demonstrate their combo on a few occasions. first time I legitimately did not understand it but the other two players were familiar with some gitrog shenanigans but when I asked them to show me the loop they couldn't figure it out and the other two didn't help once they realized.
This will remain firmly on the rails the entire time.

This is magic at it's best. 30 minutes of fucking around, riffing with your friends, 5 minutes of going "wait, what trigger are we on?," and 7 minutes of playing the game.
Everything about this video is great, except the actual match. Nothing worse in magic than players getting the game just about going and one of them goes "game over"

in this episode we get roughly 10 minutes of actual gameplay and 30 minutes of Olivia nearly dying of laughter. God that was fun to watch.
This has honestly become my favorite place to watch magic. Olivia constantly dying of laughter is gold!

This entire episode was completely unhinged and I loved it.

Olivia and Brian, I just wanted to give you a shout out for helping me jumpstart my love for commander, along with Josh, Jimmy, Rachel and all the people at Command Zone and The Prof at Tolarian. I love seeing people laughing and having fun playing vs just competing. I've been playing since Revised and it's so awesome to play with some nostalgia mixed in. Thank you all for all that you do.

This has to be the most enjoyable commander series out there. Its funny and feels like home and most importantly the rules are followed and triggers mostly get hit. Brian's constant watching of triggers and following for everyone is the same thing I do and it feels good that I am not the only one that wants to make sure everything plays right.

Not only is Curiosity a "may", Kyle could also discard in response to any Curiosity trigger, causing the damage to happen before the card draw, even if it wasn't a may.

Day9's reaction to the infinite combo is exactly my reaction to that kind of play. I actively dislike when that happens as it feels so anticlimactic. Having so much fun and then out of nowhere, the game is over and it all came down to if you had interaction available at that moment.
This episode is why commander at home beats those structured games with the editing. This is why we play for the friends we make along the way
