Every time Olivia brings the boat off the dock, it makes me smile. It's the only kind of Mono-Blue foolishness I respect. 😂😂

I’m pretty sure that comment was on porpoise. (How can I not resist a dolphin joke here?) I am a layperson familiar with animals, and am well aware of the fact that dolphins are mammals.
Not fish but extremely sexually inappropriate. They’re a problem.

For the specific infinite combo, Ben really had just the right set up.
You need Sporoloth Ancient and another Thallid both of which have at least two spore counters and one of which has at least 3. Then, assuming the minimum required 2 and 3 spore counters, the two creatures will bounce between having 2 and 3 each iteration of the cycle.
It can also work without the ancient, just needs three thallids. Intruder Alarm is a fair and balanced magic card.
It's worth mentioning that as long as Ezuri was on the battlefield it wasn't actually infinite, but Ezuri could be sacrificed to Xavier Sal, so it didn't matter too much.
Well, with Slimefoot out and Eilidh at 17, as long as Ben has more cards in his library than 17, the result is the same whether Ezuri is out or not.
Such a flavorful battle for the multiverse on a cruise ship featuring an unlimited salad bowl.
We just need soup and breadsticks and my lunch is achieved!
I like how Serge leaned over Ojer Axonil to read the card slowly and got it wrong. It only increases damage to opponents. Engagement! 😆
Uhh, not gonna lie, it feels like he straight-up cheated there, especially when he was reading it outright, little pause before the damage condition... feels icky.
Live play episodes have such great energy. Glad to see the LRR boys here to crack Olivia up.

Ben is quickly becoming my favorite. I have both an xavier deck and an old-school thallid Commander deck, and when he announced his deck, i audibly said, "Hell yeah."
Olivia's salt is soo strong that it pours out of the screen and into my room. Even though it's probably not good for her and probably those close to her, it sure is entertaining!
I got to play against Ben's legendary Scooby-Doo deck.. it was super coo and had a fun time.. and my friend Joey played with Olivia at magiccon Chicago..
I absolutely love the genuine excitement when Ben found out he had an infinite combo.

Small thing: the red god doesn't increase damage to creatures, only to opponents.

Fantastic episode! I really enjoyed it. Loved seeing all the styles of game play and deck building. Olivia's Mono Blue is how Mono Blue should be done.
Haven’t been able to watch Hijinx as much as I would like to due to a number of reasons and I’ve gotta say, this one felt special. The live aspect, the Lrr guests and the delightful banter really made my day. Been feeling down about Magic for a bit now and you reminded me why I love it in the first place. Thank you all for it ❤

I don't think the Ojer Axonil damage was done correctly, or I've been playing my Axonil deck with training wheels this entire time. I think only the face damage to Eilidh would have been modified. The damage to the commander and other creature would have only been 1. I think this is the case because of the "to an opponent" wording. Mainly commenting so someone can correct me and I can play my Axonil deck with full power.

It's great to see a fellow boat enjoyer. My Omenkeel deck is filly 100% with cards that have boats in the art (including basics!). It's slow and grindy, but it's surprising how often it can get a win in😂

I just love the fact Commander now has a legendary creature for a deck I used to play back in OG Time Spiral block called, "The Thallid Shooter." The name is based off of an old "As Seen On TV" product called "Salad Shooter."

Then you get the product in question, and it would seem to me to be a bit anticlimactic, given even the exorbitant prices back in the 1990s.
I mean, who paid "5 easy payments of $19.95" for something not even worth one of those payments? It's kind of why I look at cards like Rhystic Study or Smothering Tithe like they are those late-night infomercials, because unlike compulsory taxes, paying the 1 or paying the 2 seems more like you shouldn't be buying the infomercial thing, but you buy it anyway.
