So. 27:20 and 37:00. I wouldn't have commented on the first, getting one extra counter is whatever. But no, Vashta Nerada gets _at most_ one counter per turn. At the end step, it gets _one_ +1/+1 counter as long as any creatures died that turn. It does _not_ get one for _each_ creature that died. There are cards that do that, but they're more expensive, and not indestructible and unblockable.
46:35 all the zombies enter the battlefield at the same time, so Champion of the Perished sees all the other ones entering, and gets a +1/+1 counter for each one
26:18 since it's being blocked by multiple creatures, and it has more than one power, that damage can be split up in any way you like. So with deathtouch, it can kill both blocking creatures, and doesn't need to only choose one to hit first to kill
I recently made a zombie deck around Varina Lich Queen which is very similar to Hamish's deck but missing a few of the big hitters and spells he has, I've been writing down cards, so if he hears curses against his name on the wind, blame my pod disappearing under a wave of zombies 😈
Can a manasplainer explain to me why they were playing a forest card, 9:30 , in a mono blue commander deck? I thought that you weren’t allowed to play cards in your deck that wasn’t the color of your commander… I thought you were only allowed to use cards within your commander's color identity when building a Commander deck 🤔
25:19 Dark Salvation gives a creature -x/-x based on how many zombies the controller of that creature has. So you're supposed to give a bunch of zombies to someone else, and then give one of their creatures -x/-x for the number of zombies you gave them.
I do not think that is how the card works. the card does not specify that the target creature had to be owned by the person who gets the zombies, only that the target creature gets -1/-1 for each zombie that the target player who made the zombie has.
3:54 New here but I only pay attention to magic nowadays so I thought Covert Go Blue because of the hair then K0ppK0pp (streamer). Now I'm fairly sure I'm wrong on both and clueless. lol

He uses Tamiyo's -1/0 on attacking creatures then never takes the reduced damage, just full. Lol
Vashta Nerada are from Silence in the Library :o) such a good episode!!
One of the best two-parters in the series, imo. Up there with the Satan Pit and Doomsday.
10/10 Love these guys and their content.
🥺🥺🥺
Ok, love that the algorithm directed me y’all’s way. Subscribed and once I’m off my brutal work week, I’ll check some previous videos!
🥰

53:23 as was established the previous player's turn, the zombie tokens still have hexproof
Thanks for the pointers Joe! ❤️
46:09 Ghoulcaller Gisa is not a zombie, it should not be able to be put onto the battlefield
9:09 silence in the library

36:49 umm... Vashta Nerada gets one counter maximum at the beginning of each end step, no matter how many creatures died that turn
28:39 you DON'T tap creatures to block.
Really liked the game, felt like a very friendly and casual atmosphere.
And as usual 1 person really knew how to build a deck XD
Sick game!! 🤘🏼
i never comment, but i like you gals personality, keep being you
Thank you!!

Good spot. Tamiyo, Inquisitive Student is double sided, however her reverse side is blue/green so it counts as the commander's colour identity!
@@manasplainingmtgahhhh I see. Thanks for this!
I wanted more doctor who facts
Witch doctor are you talking about?
28:39 how did Sophie just untap the Daleks to block with them?
She 'tapped' them when blocking earlier, they hadn't actually gotten tapped.
46:13 ghoulcaller gisa is not a zombie? and the many many counters on Vashta should have been a lot less..........
If I come to London can I play with yall haha. I wanna pilot that lara croft deck lol
Lemme get that deck list in the description of the last vid so you can check it out!
www.moxfield.com/decks/h5fttg5mcEi81YiRxVn2Hw Here ya go

Where in London are you? Can I come play at your table please? I'll bring my group hug deck for lots of silliness 😁
TOWIE fans will be outraged! #MoreCardsBeforeMarbs
Can you please turn down the volume of the background music? It's overriding what you're saying

Ooooh yeah that’s our bad, we’ll not get that one wrong again!

so many miss plays and people not reading the cards.

I'm terrible at this. I can't even see shapes in clouds. :/
