Christina, thank you, thank you, thank you. Prayer is a necessary part of my relationship with God. It has calmed an anxious heart and mind. I could not imagine having a relationship with God without prayer.

Yes thanks for sharing this message .In my situation cannot control my daughter it keeps me worrying cannot sleep i cried So im praying to calm my heart commit unto Him everything read the bible seeking Him .I dont want to focus my mind on my girl's attitude coz its so painful as a parent if kid wont listen can't control so sad..I immidietley turn my worries or my pain unto God and claim His promises then i relieve .I pray that God dealt with my girl n watch over her always .Please .Pray for my girl..THANKS God bless u more

In the Catholic religion its called a Novena. My relative did this back in the 1970's for her young son at the time who was in a coma. She did the Novena for 9 days and he came out of it and made a full recovery. Prayer works.
Thank you for your good thoughts on prayer. It would be really good if you could mention the Jesus prayer and the orthodox prayer rope. These are two tools that ancient Christians used to pray without ceasing.
One thing I have learned about praying without ceasing is there is always something to pray about, living makes sure of that. And also being thankful to God.
