    Bro is playing king but talking about jin that's crazy king is so strong And they gave him that to realign his grabs. That's why they gave him a wave - because they took the tracking.

      "tHatS wHY tHeY gAvE hiM tHE wAve". King always had the wavedash🤡 All they did was change its inputs and remove its high crush. So it's jab interruptible now.

      Pretty much anything can interrupt his wavu now but how.many stupid people say that he got buffed and not nerfed is mind boggling. Well almost 90 percent of the ranked players are trash so not surprised.

    Please don't spread misinformation when you don't know what you are talking about. Mishima crouchdash does NOT have crouching status, it has a crouch status while you are inputing the down input (f,n,d,df) which barely last 1 or 2 frames at best (before the actual crouchdash happening). It behaves the same as Kings in terms of evasiveness and it is unrealistic to be relying on crouchdashing to high crush. It is common to check Mishimas wavedashing with a jab because they keep the standing status... You will never see a Mishima high crushing while doing a hellsweep or an electric and that's the reason why.
    Jin's strings are decent pokes but I don't understand how you can feel overwhelmed by it. You should know all his strings by now since he is so common to find online. His only viable low from a string is 1,3 that deals 9 damage and leaves him -1 on hit (so you can still move or take your turn) and the 3rd hit is always a low that can be blocked even after getting hit by the first 2 hits. He also feels very linear, I usually have no trouble to step common Jin moves. Automatic spacing tool ? ZEN stance ? Are you kidding ? It just gives him crouch status and he cannot block. ZEN options aren't very scary in the neutral either.
    Kaz was always a great 50/50 character but he needs to earn that 50/50 attempt and he needs momentum to do that. You guess right and it is your turn. Sometimes you don't even have to guess, you mash into him and he now has very little to work with. He can feel overwhelming by forcing fast 50/50 but there is always counterplay. He also doesn't have a good throw game. Yes, you need to get pAsT tHE eXeCuTioN bArRieR but even then you can still get misinputs and that still happens to worldclass Kaz players (just watch Keisuke's recent CEO matches you will notice he got quite a lot of misinputs, often punished for that).
    I am not trying to downplay these 2, they are strong characters but the arguments you gave were just plain misinformations.
    But you tried to downplay King by saying his wavedash isn't good. It allows him to realign with his opponent, gives access to standing, while standing, while crouching and crouchdash moves at the same time AND he has TRUE RPS throw game as they all have the same animation but different throw breaks. (Giant Swing, iWR2+4, cd1+4 and cd2+3). Yes he lost the ability to high crush during his crouchdash and tracking on throws but he also gained a new tool that basically allows him get back some tracking on his throws.

      fax fax FAX!!! Perfectly articulated everything. TY for defending the Mishimas. I do think Jin needs some nerfs to D2 and samsara, but overall he isn't as oppressive in my experience. Doesn't mean he isn't S tier, but he isn't as daunting to fight as Feng, Drag, King etc.

      @Scbas2 if you actually read what I wrote, I specified that you have crouch status for 1 frame while doing a crouchdash input during the d input (in f,n,d,df) and not in the crouchdash itself. Electrics don't high crush during the whole 11f animation.

    Blue ranks are equivalnet to sf platinum? You cant compare tekken 8 with sf6 ranking system. You can get to master with onlye 40 percent of wins in sf6. This video dosent make sense at all.

    • @JonathonTheAsshole
      @JonathonTheAsshole Месяц назад

      You can get to blue with less than 50% win rate in Tekken 8 too. In fact it's the first rank where you start losing more points than you win. The game basically tries to push EVERYONE into blue eventually if they play long enough.
      Purple and Blue in T8 are like Green and Yellow in Tekken 7.

    • @michelpetrus
      @michelpetrus Месяц назад +1

      Totally agree, maybe superposing distribution of both games can be OK, but still not good enough.
      Sf6 till master favor people that play often. On the other side in Tekken if you are average and want to rank up, you have to cherry pick when to rematch or not. It’s not about the number of games you win, but to win when it gives the most points.

    Honestly speaking Fujin should just be a 4th purple rank because the drop off gets insane from Fuji to Rajin

    • @Enjury
      @Enjury Месяц назад +3

      There are reasons for why blue ranks and above are harder to climb :
      - You win less points than you lose which means you need to get win streaks to gain points even against higher ranked players (= you lose points on a 50% win rate),
      - Blue ranks players are usually better than purple ranks players (well obviously...),
      - Although rarer because of the Tekken Prowess difference, you can match gold ranked players on their alt or Tekken Kings that got demoted to Bushin/Kishin.
      Also, some people completely stops playing ranked matches once they reach Fujin (same applies to 1st rank of any color tier) which can explain the difference between Fujin and Raijin and above.

    Saying King’s wavedash buff isn’t an actual buff is so stupid. If they can make something with extremely high execution really easy to do - that’s a buff
    Prior to this buff it was only SOME GoD Kings. Now you got red ranks wavedashing. The pressure alone makes it a really good tool, let alone whether you can jab out of it or not

      I see your point, but his old wave dash having high crushing properties was undoubtedly better than the Mishima wave dash. Ofc, making it easier makes it more accessible, but to anyone who could consistently use his old wave dash, it is definitely a nerf.
      Making something easier is a buff, in the sense that it is more accessible, but by removing something that made his wave dash stronger than other wave dashes, it would overall classify as a nerf. For the player who can do both wave dashes, the old one was better.
      Your example of the red rank now being able to wave dash also has the opposite effect on the GoD player, who now loses out on its high crushing properties as a result of this nerf.
      Does it really matter if a King in red ranks can wave dash? He is still in red lmao. A respectable rank for the average player, but it doesn't mean much when the actual good players are given a worse tool.

    King is way too strong and way too easy,Tell me why as a new player it took me 4 months to get Jin to tekken king and from what I learned i got king there in 1 and a half weeks?

    • @ricey3952
      @ricey3952 Месяц назад +1

      simple answer: You gained more experience as a player lmao.
      King is very strong dont get me wrong, top 3 imo. But you having experience from getting to Tekken King is part of the reason you can take King far as well.
      But also, King is not easy to fight against for most ppl. When I got to Tekken King with Jin, many ppl Raijin and up already knew half of my strings. But getting Hwo higher was a breeze because ppl lack that matchup experience against him. These kinds of things matter, Hwo may not be stronger than Jin, but he is trickier for most ppl to know when to press and when to duck/sidestep. Which doesn't really happen too often until I got to Kishin. Seems like more ppl know how to fight against certain characters than others. Jin being one of the most popular characters probably has something to do with that.
