- Ihead to Cincinnati Ohio and stop by a blast from my past, Discovery Zone, and then check out the legendary Jungle Jims Grocery store for a one of a kind experience and see The King. I also visit a Chuck E. Cheese to see their Studio C Beta stage setup. I hope you enjoy!

Please tell me you didn't miss the other CEC animatronic that they have in Jungle Jim's! They have an original torso-only Pasqually that is over the Mexican section of the international market. It's been refurbished to look more like a Latino man though.
It was just recently added back so it wouldn't have been there then
That cec location used to have a rocker stage until it was replaced by the beta/cappa stage
DISCOVERY ZONE! That was my childhood along with Club Disney, and I remember those places were where my mom would take my siblings if we behaved. Smashed my fingers so many times on the rolly slides, but seeing that made me smile. And I wanna visit Jungle Jim's one day
I think it's extremely cool they had the original roof still inside the expanded building. Epic seeing the King in such great shape!! Too bad he wasn't performing that day
Jungle Jim's had a fazts Billy Bob and Chuck-E-Cheese retrofit in the late 90s called the Hirobl TrIo
I don't know if you know this but there is someone named Jared Sanchez and he has a RUclips channel called The King Robot and he has 4 King animatronics that he saved and he does shows with them and he did everything by himself. I think you could possibly get in touch with him and do a type of interview if you want. He seems like the kind of guy who would let you do something like that. Keep up the amazing content.

Jared is the king master. The kings at the Volo car museum use his voice. He probably assisted in fixing them up.
We were there just last month! Jungle Jim’s is awesome! We always stop there when we go up. That place is so big i didn’t know about the toy section until this video!! Lol

Yeah they had some great toys in there too, I really think I might go back and get the TIE fighter and falcon desk lamps, so awesome!

There was a King performing in the North Chuck E Cheese (had a rocker and then a road stage, no longer open) in Calgary. There were two other Chuck E. Cheese’s in Calgary. There was a South One (that used to be Bullwinkle’s, had a road stage) but it’s gone, and there is another north “Sunridge” one there still open! I think that one is either 2.0 or one of the studio c ones
You caught the King animatronic at a good time. Within the last couple years, it got refurbished. Prior to that his mouth barely moved and he was kind of hunched over permanently.
Sadly, you also missed a few - they used to have a pretty well-maintained Warblettes. And WAY back when, they had a Dolli Dimples (I am 31 and I have the faintest of memories of a red-haired hippo, which could only have been Dolli). Given the fact that I remember this but it's extremely foggy, I'd put that somewhere around the mid to late 90s.
I don't know whether it's been converted to the new design without animatronics, but last time I was there, the Colerain OH Chuck E Cheese two exits west on I-275 still had a three stage.

Hey this is home town!! Went shopping here with my aunt as a kid, spent many nights going here with friends to find random stuff to kill the boredom and still go on a whim with my husband to this day. The best part is the Sherwood Forrest at the back of the store and the hot sauce Big Bertha fire truck!

There used to be a CEC around me, which did indeed have one of the studio C beta’s. Sadly it closed in 2020, a long time since it’s opening in 2011. Also you missed something in Jungle Jim’s, there is a balcony stage Pasqually on top of one of the isles
The Cincinnati cec has wood paneling that’s been there since the opening near the back and front
Gawd dang pedro/pasqually retrofit and warblettes/junglejim animals i think but they’re somewhere in there unless they got taken they also had part of the rockafire explosion sign it’s probably gone
I knew about the Warblettes being there but they had been takin down by the time I arrived :(

WAit, how is there *STILL* a Discovery Zone?, Chuck E. Cheese acquired them in 1999 (what a *GREAT* year *THAT* was to be a stockholder)
The last thing I remember at discovery zone was the men in black lasertag ride then yeah literally right after that discovery zone became non existent.

I went to the jungle Jim's in Eastgate it's a probably about an half an hour drive, Eastgate mall is also getting changed into something else :( also I've been to that same CEC before

That sign but the king must be outdated bc when I went last year instead of being on a timer there was a sensor so if someone walked by him.he would star dining something must of been wrong with that

I was definitely bummed I kept checking back the whole time I was there which was over 2 hours and he never did work 😕
The only reason I would ever consider leaving the state is too see stuff like this
However, I'm not too big on leaving California because as a Trans man, I don't have enough rights everywhere else
If that changes I'm totally going and checking this place out
